R2 isn’t cheating

I dont have a problem if you hold it for a second or 2 every at bat my only complaint is with the people that hold it the max amount of time every pitch. That's what kills me, checking the last pitch sequence or confidence is completely understandable -
If you want to hold R2 every pitch that fine but for players who do it be prepared that I will step off every time that little icon shows up.

You need to see pitcher confidence/energy after every pitch? I cant believe any difference is even noticeable between pitches.
No I don’t need to but R2 helps my timing rhythm

I haven't played online much this year but last year I had it happen a few times. It was always people that were doing other bs on top of it tho like bunt cheesing etc. I agree tho that it's not one of those things you run into often so don't really think it should be inspiring threads to be made on here

I have played people who try to do it as much as possible. With that I know you can press R2 three separate times. Basically I had to wait until after time 3 to start my pitch.

That’s crazy because it’s usually only 0.5-2 seconds so if that annoys you that’s on you

I wonder if it helps your timing because the pitcher has already started to pitch and it hangs their pitch because of it...

Not an r2 guy, but quick pitching is just as bad. Maybe add penalties for pressing r2 too much or pitching too quickly.
