They will get thier money's worth guaranteed! If they don't it will be thier own fault just takes patience.
This is the attitude that allows companies to have bad practices. If this was the first time this has happened, I would say this is bad but things will get better but this is as yearly as the game itself. That's why people are upset and they have every right to be upset. It's also a 2 way street, no one is saying you need to come into the threads and talk about how people are complaining. Just move along, it'll all work out soon and there won't be as many complainers, you just have to have patience.
Oh horsecrap! It is not a yearly thing where every mode is effected! It's usually the online modes only and it is usually resolved after 2nd day! This year was different and you know it!
Covid slowed development which was part of the cause for late release, then throw in MLB forcing them to offer it on multiple platforms, oh yeah and coding for 3 platforms they never worked on before. So enough with all the blame SDS they have a big fanbase why? Because 9/10 times the gameplay is superb aside from first hiccups.
So yeah i personally gave them a pass before it even launched b/c of the aforementioned. But if you don't want to acknowlege that's on you but don't sit there and tell me how the game has been like this every year when i've played and pre-orderd for last 11 or 12 years.
And i never once said people shouldn't be upset b/c that's not up to me to decide how someone else feels. And the same goes for you! You don't have the right to tell me what attitude i can or can't have toward a company.
If i want to come into the forums and voice my opinion i can! I paid the same $100 everyone else did! You are just butthurt cause i slap you around with facts and common sense! Well you put your pants on one leg at a time just like everyone else you are no better than me! So you can take your advice and feed to someone who doesn't know better. Have a nice day!

If you cannot release the product in a working condition, then you should not release the product. They have an entire team dedicated to making sure that this does not happen. They failed. There is no excuse for releasing a defective product. 80 dollars is a lot of money to some of us. We should not have to "be patient" to get what we paid for.
Did you get the free packs and stubs that came with pre order? B/c that has value as well. Did you complain when you happily ripped them open, or when you spent the stubs on more packs or players?
Hell no you didn't b/c it benefitted you but now servers are down off and on for less than a week it's all bout torches and pitchforks b/c it doesn't benefit you! Exact definition of Entitled!

I know it’ll work soon enough, but I just don’t get what they were thinking. Don’t they want to keep these millions of new users that didn’t have to pay for the game? Do they really expect Xbox users to spend real money on this next year? Seems like a tall ask to have people that have never experienced your game continue to wait around or try again when they never even paid. Let alone get them to pay next year.

I mean they probably couldn't care less if Xbox users stayed around or not. If it was up to them it would still be exclusive. The just want the MLB to be satisfied enough to keep the license

I payed $85 for the game, I expect the game to work the way it’s supposed to. RTTS progression being as broken as it is completely unacceptable. Server are what they are, sometimes they crash.

Well, we could comment on the gameplay, but we would need to be able to, you know play. I heard it is quite good when it works. I heard some people managed to experience it. But I’m not that gullible though...

You’re under the impression these guys would rather stay loyal to users based of the console they choose as opposed to adding a consumer base of 10 MILLION PEOPLE? 10 million dollars per person? 80 MILLION DOLLARS per standard addition purchase? SDS doesn’t love you that much my guy.
Seems like your way of stretching that SDS is so great they somehow managed to do this to the servers on purpose to eliminate 10,000,000 users they don’t want playing their game because they are Xbox users.
