It is a video game. That I paid a lot of money for. And it does not work. Name me one industry that releases a defective product and expects their customers to be ok with it.
Literally everyone. Apple, SONY, Microsoft, etc etc etc.. It takes time to get tech completely right first try. When they fix things in a couple days I hope you feel silly. You act like they're not doing anything. Be patient or go get your 80 dollars back. Quit acting like 80 dollars is going to bankrupt you. Its 80 dollars
I won't feel silly. Because if it takes them a couple of days it will have been a week plus a couple of days which is awful. If you cannot release the product in a working condition, then you should not release the product. They have an entire team dedicated to making sure that this does not happen. They failed. There is no excuse for releasing a defective product. 80 dollars is a lot of money to some of us. We should not have to "be patient" to get what we paid for.
Did you get the free packs and stubs that came with pre order? B/c that has value as well. Did you complain when you happily ripped them open, or when you spent the stubs on more packs or players?
Hell no you didn't b/c it benefitted you but now servers are down off and on for less than a week it's all bout torches and pitchforks b/c it doesn't benefit you! Exact definition of Entitled!

I know it’ll work soon enough, but I just don’t get what they were thinking. Don’t they want to keep these millions of new users that didn’t have to pay for the game? Do they really expect Xbox users to spend real money on this next year? Seems like a tall ask to have people that have never experienced your game continue to wait around or try again when they never even paid. Let alone get them to pay next year.

I payed $85 for the game, I expect the game to work the way it’s supposed to. RTTS progression being as broken as it is completely unacceptable. Server are what they are, sometimes they crash.

Well, we could comment on the gameplay, but we would need to be able to, you know play. I heard it is quite good when it works. I heard some people managed to experience it. But I’m not that gullible though...

You’re under the impression these guys would rather stay loyal to users based of the console they choose as opposed to adding a consumer base of 10 MILLION PEOPLE? 10 million dollars per person? 80 MILLION DOLLARS per standard addition purchase? SDS doesn’t love you that much my guy.
Seems like your way of stretching that SDS is so great they somehow managed to do this to the servers on purpose to eliminate 10,000,000 users they don’t want playing their game because they are Xbox users.

The problem is that it’s not new tech, it’s not a new engine. Same game, same modes. Small glitches like the batting glove one I keep having don’t bother me, that’s a patch thing. But the progression issues? That should’ve been solved before the game was released.

Dude the fact that I bought a PS5 has nothing to do with how MLB the Show launched. First off when you spend essentially $130 on a game $80 it doesn't matter how much you spend but the fact that you spend money in a game the game should work not be mostly broken. Secondly the PS5 is actually really good quality I've never complained once about it neither have I complained about the PS4 or the PS3 the PS2 or the PSone fact is when someone buys something they sould get the product that's advertised not a buggy mess hence and MLB the show 21

Ok you win, you all win, complain away, complain to your hearts content. Let some video game servers being down take over your life and psyche, don’t go outside, don’t talk to friends or family until you have complained enough to get this fixed. You should use caps in your rants as well that gets the fix done faster.
