Trevor Bauer

I really haven't followed this guy's career, but now that he's a Dodger, I'm trying to figure him out. I remember the incident in which he chucked the ball from the mound to center field in frustration. Has he had other incidents like that?
He seems very serious doing interviews like he's just trying not to get in trouble. Almost like he's not saying what he really wants to say. Is he a troublemaker? Or just a talented player who's been on sub par teams? And frustrated because of it?

He seems to be on a mission to promote the game by having a very public profile.
-
He’s just a very interesting character
-
Hes become an attention [censored] just doing stuff to promote his brand. I liked him before this off-season where he became a bit annoying.
Biggest bit on Bauer is that he said he'd probably win a Cy Young of he started using the MLBs unapproved "sticky stuff", and he did just that. Only way to explain his increase in spin rate.

Okay thanks. I guess he's just outspoken and promotes himself and the game. That's cool. Should be an interesting season. I know he's looking forward to the Padres matchup. He called out Machado for ducking him.
-
He spent about a week bullying a teenage girl on Twitter two years ago. He hates Gerrit Cole because Cole started Friday nights at UCLA over him. The Diamondbacks traded him because he is a punk. Miguel Montero pretty much has said that flat out. He's also leaned on some racist ideology in the past and has even been called out on it by some prominent Hispanic members of the LA community. He is pretty self-absorbed and not very self-aware.

I like when he takes at bats and he mimics team mates batting stances.

Say what you will about the guy, I just like how he has fun with the game. It’s refreshing to see when most players just act like robots. The game needs big personalities to stay relevant in today’s society when they’re competing with the NBA and NFL.

He's a drama king for sure.
I wanted him on the Mets but we already have one kook in Noah.
I like what he brings to the table, though. He seems like a guy who can joke about or find humor in everything like myself.
We'll see how it works out In la la land if he faces some adversity, though.
Like Mike Tyson said, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. -
He is a great pitcher but he needs to chill a bit on social media. He feeds off drama and likes to be part of it a bit too much. I'd be a little worried if I played for the Dodgers. He could either be an amazing teammate or the worst in the clubhouse. Only time will tell.

It's worth mentioning his Drone incident when he was in Cleveland, during the 2016 playoffs, where he had a hand injury when he was fixing a drone and it mangled his pitching hand when the props turned on full tilt, pitched anyway (was not allowed to cover it as it would be considered a foreign object) and the wound opened up and he started bleeding during the game. Which led to him being removed from the game.

The guy has a lot talent, but isn't there mentally. He's only had 2 good seasons. Big mouth for someone who puts up average numbers. Maybe Kershaw will teach him to be more professional.
