Being insecure about stats, couldn't be me
I'll still have my 1.500 ops with Yelich with or without 1 or 2 homers

In my original post I stated I have reported it at least 30 times now. It happened many times before that as well. So, that is NOT 1 or 2 HR’s.
And again, if it is not important or doesn’t matter to you, fine. But it does matter to me.

Arguing that it's not "cheating" is not the same thing as "attacking" you.
They don't have an unfair advantage, you still get the win. Does it suck losing stats? Absolutely. But it's not "cheating", a better term would be it's unsportsmanlike.

Why not just quit once the play completes then using the quit option in the pause menu? Why go through the process of purposely disconnecting your connection when you have an out if you’d like not to continue? The only answer is to CHEAT! So the stats do not count against you. You’re being ridiculous. Outright cheating AND unsportsmanlike.

The only answer is not cheating when considering why people quit before a play is done. The simple answer is they quit because they are mad. It's unsportsmanlike, it's not cheating.
They aren't quitting because they care about that one home run they gave up, they are just raging. And raging is rarely logical, they aren't going to work it out in their heads "I must wait until the play is over", they are going to give into emotion and just pull the plug.
Not cheating, absolutely unsportsmanlike.

Dashboarding is annoying for sure, but as has been pointed out, a win is a win. I think there are more egregious flaws in the game, and would be happy to see any of them taken care of. I suppose we’ll soon see...

I think all these guys are trying to say is go ahead and continue to think of it like you do, but you'll keep on finding yourself upset when you should be celebrating a free win and the fact you played so well you most likely just made a grown man throw a hissy fit. Lol. The fact is there isn't anything they could or would do about it man. Sorry.
If stats matter that much, keep track of how many rage quits you get. That's a nice stat.

Personally, I like to imagine that the 497 ft Yelich bomb caused their PS4 to explode from sheer awesomeness.
-
Personally I love making guys dashboard lol

Imagine being this 'concerned' about digital stats that have no meaning other than to stroke one's ego.

This was a much bigger deal in 17 when we had missions like hit 2 HRs with LH hitters in a RS game and you get dashboarded on your 2nd HR. But after that I really dont care about getting dashboarded. Its disrespectful and childish, but doesn't affect my game like it did in 17.

I’ve played 3 ranked season games today. I’ve had 3 consecutive opponents dashboard on me within the first three innings.
Guess what? I don’t care. I moved up a division in about 20 minutes since they saved me some time. This is a perfect example of making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I totally agree with u not imfor the punishment side... but enjoy it... is it frustrating those stats does not count ? Very... but believe in the same moral eay is so much better to take that W knowing the other guy is such a Ficking Shotty loser to do that kind of stuff

You know, there is another aspect to this which just occurred to me, and that is, if you click X on “return to lobby” you can actually get tagged with the loss.
-
Not sure how it’s considered cheating. They get the loss. I’m usually pretty happy when it happens. If I’m killing somebody now I don’t have to go through the whole game or press for the mercy rule. If it’s a close game there is no chance of me blowing it late because they quit and I got the win. On to the next game. I don’t recall it ever happening when I’m behind but I’d sure welcome that.

I agree SDS should address this issue. The only problem is everyone seems to be confused about what the issue is. The issue isn't people dashboarding. The issue is that there are so many "unfair" glitches in the animations and game play when playing online. People trying to enjoy a video game get frustrated to the point of rage quitting. I don't blame anyone for dashboarding in any form of online play from 2016 to present. When someone dashboards against me I assume they have seen one too many of their outfielders slowly jogging when they should be sprinting or any of the many other game breaking glitches that seem to be the deciding factor in more than half the online games I've played (giving me wins and losses that weren't earned but a result of wonky animations). It seems to me much of this thread is directed at a symptom and not the actual cause.
People rage quit no matter the game, it could be completely perfect and people would still get mad. Yes the current game flaws add to this, but rage quits will never go away.
