New catchers and shortstops you’d like to see in 20
-
So, these two positions seem the most thin variety wise for 19, so who would you wanna see in 20?
-
There's one Mariners/Rangers/Yankees Shortstop that would work
We need Mendoza back
-
I really want A-Rod. Miguel Tejada would be awesome too. A lot of 5 tool shortstops from the late 90s-early 2000s would be awesome. Another one would be Jimmy Rollins.
-
For catchers, Tony Pena and Carlton Fisk. They should add the "sitting down" catcher animation and pose as well.
-
Berra, Fisk, Josh Gibson, Campanella, Tony Pena, and Joe Mauer.
Please.
-
SS: Miguel Tejada, Nomar Garciaparra, Jimmy Rollins, Edgar Renteria, Rafeal Furcal, Orlando Cabrera, Rich Aurilla, David Eckstein, Tony Fernandez.
C - Joe Mauer, Javy Lopez, Charles Johnson, Victor Martinez, Jason Varitek, Mike Matheny, Mike Lieberthal, A. J. Pierzynski, Brad Ausmus, Sandy Alomar Jr., Carlton Fisk
Those are mostly 90-00's guys.
Some old school guys would be Mickey Cochrane, Ted Simmons, Bill Dickey, Thurman Munson at C.
George Davis, Joe Cronin, Lou Boudreau, and Dave Conception at SS.
-
nomar in his prime would be a nice card. a cheaper version of Arod
-
SS - Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, Alan Trammell, Miguel Tejada, Nomar Garciapara, Tony Fernandez, Jimmy Rollins, Edgar Renteria
C - Carlton Fisk, Yogi Berra, Roy Campanella, Joe Mauer, Tony Pena, Darren Daulton, Jason Varitek, Sandy Alomar Jr, Darrin Fletcher
Honorable Mention should go towards Dan Wilson, Joe Oliver, Todd Hundley for catchers
and Walt Weiss, Jay Bell, and Royce Clayton. For Shortstops.
Plus Tony Bautista because I want to see his unusual stance in MLB the show. -
Ted Simmons. Newly inducted to the Hall of Fame. A rare switch hitting catcher who had over over 9,500 plate appearances. 8 time all star. Silver Slugger winner.
-
Fisk and Berra both used to be in the game lol
-
C - Campanella, Darren Daulton, Matt Nokes,
SS - Rollins, Tejada, A-Arod, ordonez, Garciaparra, Arky Vaughn, Stephen Drew -
Uh ... Trammell is already in the game. Twice!
-
Ok yah my mistake.
-
There is only one catcher that I want to see in the game.
Josh Gibson -
Lance Parrish in his Tigers days. Loved it when the Phillies signed him, but he stunk in the NL.
-
Jeter please.
-
Joe Mauer
-
I agree nothing would be more appropriate than Josh Gibson
