You might just not be that good....... I am diamond and have like 4 80s in my lineup and have been beating these guys you're talking about with all 95+ players.. 60-30 probably.... not always the games fault haha

What does you being a Diamond have to do with anything. I am 100 Prestige and i lose to bronze guys, because they are better than me. I am 100 prestige because i play all day nearly every day, but it doesn't make me good at the game.

Guess it doesn't... but if you (the OP) have a record in this event of 21-64 it might not be that game/matchmaking as much as you (the OP) not being all that good... which was the point I was trying to make I guess

I get it, i just never understand people confusing XP accumulation with how good they are in the game. I fully admit i am not a good player. I am a WC player, i made DS one time ever and that was on 17. I am lucky to be around .500 in events and that with a bunch of quiters

I feel ya... I definitely look at the roster pre game and then see 71 prestige I think F*** I am about to lose... hasn't been the case lately... so you are right that means nothing... I can see why a nameplate says so much more than xp lvl... funny as that sounds

Yeah, there really isnt a way to tell, RS record does give some indication, but player stats can be off because of Moonshot event and players boosting. Cards hit differently for people, so you cant judge by line up. I have found ways to beat people with WS banners, so honestly there is truly no way to know. But banner is probably the only thing close a 12-0 or WS banner is usually a sign i am going to lose. CS banners too.

It’s not necessarily to be better at this game (although in some cases it is), but more because gaming monitors are better for gaming in every way. I mean, it’s why they exist, right? If you use a screen primarily for gaming purposes, should someone use a tv designed to make movies look good, or a monitor designed to make games play smoother?
Personally, I don’t even own a tv. I play a ton of video games, and the monitor reacts quicker to my input, and is better for my eyes.

I think the point I was trying to make is video games are supposed to be fun, not so ultra competitive that you have to buy a gaming monitor to level the playing field. I dont even have my computer hooked up to a monitor, i have a 32 inch TV for primary use and hooked up to my 65 inch TV for watching stuff that there are no apps for.

Never claimed to be good. I'm by definition completely average. 35-32 RS record, typically float b/t AS and WC.
But I'm not even getting average results in this event. I'm getting 'Edward Norton vs. Jared Leto in Fight Club' results.

2 Legitimate wins in the last 37.
Most of them boosted for it and suck, I've never seen so many horrible "ws" players as this year
And for the first time since I started playing in 2017, I simply can't get to the ws. Funny how things on this game are working at a time when the internet is saturated with people. Maybe someday they'll actually go to ping based match making. Then these horrible "ws" players won't sniff the ws. Or I can keep disconnecting until I get to the 400's and beat up on people with silver players and bad pitchers. Pretty funny seeing them desperately trying to win a game while I am starting silver pitchers.
It's all matchups, it should be off win percentage tbh but a lot of these guys match up with scrubs or buddies to get free wins to skate them thru the 800s with .500 records
I liked the idea one guy had with a 15 game "reg szn" then essentially win 4 of next 7 to advance etc

I cap each season in the 700s (mainly due to lack of attempts once I get there I think) but been doing lot more events.
But yeah most of the people I've faced are prestige level with a WS/Goat icon...6-1 so far in the even though so got something going my way. Likely due to AS being generally trash difficulty...I both benefit and get victimized by the early homeruns.

Sorry another question....whats the point of the season then? Do you need to get so many wins within 15 games to qualify to make the 4 of 7 series thing? Just seems like a pointless to do the 15 games if the only thing that matters is winning 4 of 7 to advance. Not sure if the person who came up with the original theory thought this out.
