No kidding, this is getting brutal. I can't hit during this event. I swear I did better on the Prime HOF event.

Sometimes you just have to laugh to keep from crying. Every player i've faced so far is prestige 20 or higher, WS banner, and has every top card to play with. I'm just 3 games in too.

Yeah i got the GOAT bat without WS or 12-0
Yeah i have had bad runs in this event, multiple games I have been rocked for 3 or more runs on the 1st inning and no hit. Most of my wins have been quits or comeback codes

Are you on a monitor or a tv... I switched this year and it changed my abilities drastically for the better.

Most of them boosted for it and suck, I've never seen so many horrible "ws" players as this year

This is so sad right here. That you have to buy a monitor in order to be even remotely good at the game. I refuse to do it, i just have to except that i will forever be a 600 player and that i am going to find myself in games where i have no chance.

Showdown is the key
Yup, i reached 100 Prestige last night. Showdown is a ton of XP and collections, collections, collections. I went from 97 to 100 just by finishing up Trout. It obviously helped that i have not had to go into work since the week after launch day, so i have logged in a years worth of time already. I did nothing special other than play all the time.

I think the reason we are seeing so many good or better skilled level players in this event is the rewards. The reward path for baseball back is just really good

6 Choice PacksUnless you make WS the rewards have no comparison. This means that fringe DS and CS players may switch there focus to the event as the value of rewards vs time played is way better suited for the event. I fighting my way through as a PR player cause my time is better served in the event getting 5 wins a day

With me, it's been sheer effort. From launch date through mid-May, I only played RTTS. Then, dipped into DD. I've played a little bit of everything - online, showdowns, conquest... it all adds up. I typically travel a lot for work, but working from home has made it much easier to put in the time. I sneak in time before work, lunchtime, etc. I can't imagine playing this much next year.

And for the first time since I started playing in 2017, I simply can't get to the ws. Funny how things on this game are working at a time when the internet is saturated with people. Maybe someday they'll actually go to ping based match making. Then these horrible "ws" players won't sniff the ws. Or I can keep disconnecting until I get to the 400's and beat up on people with silver players and bad pitchers. Pretty funny seeing them desperately trying to win a game while I am starting silver pitchers.
