Power button or contact button

Normal always. In every situation. No matter who is batting.
-
Depends on the batter/pitcher/situation. Just like real baseball. I have hit bombs using contact.
-
Only time I use it is sometimes for moments when you have to hit XBH/HR with weaker hitters.

I was thinking this as well

Against the CPU, moments, conquest, showdowns or whatever. Always use the Power swing on veteran and rookie. If not you are swinging a wet noddle. H2H normal swing for sure. I have never used contact. Unless playing vs CPU and just need to get out as fast as possible. Contact swing works way better than bunt.

Power swing is the move this year. If your still normal swinging you are falling behind the times
-
Uh oh conflicting posts lol. I’m gonna have to do some trial and error and see
-
Normal for anything expect home run missions with crappy cards.

Same here.

I use contact swing every time now. Idc I’ll drink and dunk all day. I can’t get hits any other way lol sometimes I’ll even hit a no doubter with a couple of the high power guys

Definitely makes sense

It’s an exit velocity boost why would I say no?
The ball goes further, you get more homeruns, it lands in the gaps quicker, it flies past outfielders and beats them to the wall, it even bounces up into the air off infielders for some ground ball doubles.
One day people are gunna figure it out and fly threw showdowns instead of flying to the warning track.

Certain cards perform better utilising power swing. I use that with them, and normal otherwise. I think I've used contact 1 or 2 times.

Yep. This right here. ️
-
I always use normal. Sometimes to avoid striking out with my pitcher I use contact so the pitcher doesn’t gain much confidence
-
In moments if I have a non-power hitter and I need extra base hits, I'll sometimes switch to directional and hold the stick up and use the square button
-
I see better power results with normal, since day 1
-
Normal swing. For these Brandon Phillips moments I was power swinging
-
Offline I use power for rookie or veteran and normal for harder difficulties. Online I almost always use normal, but ill start mixing in some power swings if I notice that my opponent is getting predictable with his location. With two strikes I use contact, because I have terrible plate discipline and it allows me to foul more pitches off which hopefully increases my chances of getting something good to hit.

Contact on 0-2 or runner in scoring position and down a run
Power on 2-0, 3-0, or 3-1 or in moments requiring XBH
Normal every other time..it's worked for me decently so far
