How many of you are planning to wait before purchasing 20?

This time last year, I caved and pre-ordered 19 after playing the alpha and feeling optimistic about the state of the game.
This year, I’m on the fence. Is anyone still planning to wait and see? -
I took a leap of faith and just ordered it. Regardless of whether the gameplay improves or how pissed I get, it's still the only playable baseball game that also has great content. Even if this game was perfect, I'm sure we'd all find a way to be pissed at it.
Plus, I know for me, I'd watch you all having fun for the first two weeks and then cave anyways, then kick myself for not getting in on the early release. -
I will wait until after the streams. Other than a card you get for the '19 version (Baez) that I will never use there is no real benefit to buying it two months early as opposed to 2 weeks early or even 2 days early, especially if you are going digital.

I ordered it as even with its warts it’s the game I play the most.

Considering DD is imo at its peak during the first few months, I'm on the fence about it. I'll probably cave once Baseball actually starts and that fever hits.

I'm not buying 20. I would rather flush $100 down the toilet. Last 2 games have been flat out terrible. It will not get any better. They will never get with the times and put an accurate ping indicator which almost every game has these days. Matching people with like ping gives the best playing experience for both sides. They haven't grasped that concept yet. Little Billy code will still be in effect. There is a reason they are going to Xbox. They will put a different spin on it but the reality is they have screwed up the last 2 and fear sales will be way down. Going over to Xbox makes up for it.

I'm in full-on wait mode. It's not the gameplay or netcode that is keeping me from pulling the trigger, it's the game modes. RTTS has grown stale on me. I want to enjoy Diamond Dynasty as an alternative way of building and progressing my team (as opposed to Franchise, a game mode that I have never liked), but I hate playing online. If Custom Leagues lets me play an offline season mode as my DD squad, then I'll be tempted to buy. If not, I'll be sitting out.

I ended up ordering it, simply because the reports from the beta were very positive. I think once they sort bugs that the game will be very similar to what people played during the testing phase.

I was going to wait becuase Cyberpunk2077 was going to come out around the same time, now that it's pushed back, i'm just going to get it at or near release anyway.

I've ordered it. I don't play madden, NBA, or NHL. I'll get tired of call of duty in the next month. Even if the gameplay on DD sucks, I can still do franchise or RTTS. But, I did like what I saw on beta though.

I've pre-ordered it. Despite 19's problems, I only have gotten tired of it in the last month or so. So all in all, I enjoyed 19 and think it was a massive improvement over 18. I hope 20 continues the trend of getting better and I've been encouraged by what I've seen so far.

I want to wait, but this is like the only video game that I’m actually good at, so I’m probably just gonna preorder so I can get the early access. I was hoping to win a tournament so I could get the game for free but that didn’t happen

I've been very critical in recent years about the direction this franchise is heading in, with MLBTS 18 being an absolute worst. I still pre ordered, because this is the only game that I always come back to eventually despite all the flaws. I just love baseball.
I usually take breaks throughout the year when I'm either fed up or when a big game comes out, but like I said.. I always come back. So might as well pre order.

I know The Show 19 has a lot of issues, but I honestly don't think '20 will be that much of an improvementFor a lot of people, building a team is just as fun as having the 99's. I've enjoyed my god squad for months now, I'm looking forward to starting over.

It’s fun just to slowly make additions and upgrades to your team, building it into an unstoppable monster that would make every all-star team in history cry just thinking about having to play them.
