Depends what kind of tv you were using. Newer tv’s have very comparable specs to monitors.

If your tv isn’t close to 5 Delay yes it will make you way better. Will take getting used to so your not very early on everything including fastballs tho.

I use a Samsung from 2014/2015 that doesn’t have a game mode. Input lag is suppose to be the same across all modes but I’m looking to finally get a monitor too. I’m curious to see what it’s like. You hear and read so many things about monitors.. there’s really only one way to know.

Yea I’m curious to how I’ll do. I’d say I’m ok. I’ve ran into World Series once last year but it was bout when everyone was done playing. I’ve been using a Samsung tv I bought around 2014. Had game mode one on it. But play with a wireless connection too

You still have to put the PCI on the ball. The monitor will definitely help you to see it better though.

With a monitor this season I’m playing a lot better. I’m 14-6 and two of those loses came from a freeze and a network error. I haven’t played much but if you get a decent monitor you will see the ball better. As far as hitting it that’s another question all together. Low off speed messes me up for sure. I can catch up to fastballs now

Most people I know that play The Show if not all have monitors and 100% of them are complaining about how fast the ball gets to them. While you could be early on a sinker or fastball you still have to put the pci on it and that's where the skills come in handy.

This. A monitor isn't everything, and if you think it is you'll be very disappointed.

Without the GF to bother you, you’ll get plenty of practice and will definitely push you to WS. So monitor well worth it.

Takes a lot of getting used to at first but SO worth it once you have played 5-10 games on one. Definitely use one of the strike zone hitting views and you'll be solid.

Obviously a monitor is better but for me they weirdly make me sleepy especially in game mode probably because the lighting off screen and being close up.

Ya I’m lost I don’t know what monitor to get or what to look for so if anyone has suggestions or advice let me know
