Without the GF to bother you, you’ll get plenty of practice and will definitely push you to WS. So monitor well worth it.

Takes a lot of getting used to at first but SO worth it once you have played 5-10 games on one. Definitely use one of the strike zone hitting views and you'll be solid.

Obviously a monitor is better but for me they weirdly make me sleepy especially in game mode probably because the lighting off screen and being close up.

Search best ps4 gaming monitors on yt you don't need to spend a lot on a monior for ps4 mine was only 150.

I play on a projector and have made it to World Series in back to back seasons. Not sure what exactly the input lag is but its definitely higher than a monitor.

BenQ Zowie are great. The XL2411P is really good and affordable. Plus is 144hz so it’ll work with PS5.

This game is good monitor salesman that’s for sure. I play on a tv and a monitor with 1 ms and it’s not a huge difference. You’re not going to be early on fastballs and magically become a better player. You’re gaining milliseconds by playing on a monitor.

Educate yourself or don’t. The box you bought with a giant 1ms and ten arrows pointing to it was a good salesman, it means nothing because no monitor or TV is 1ms.
You would have been better off had you taken advice from a place like this where people are well versed. If you don’t see the difference, you probably upgraded to a monitor slower than your TV because you wrote them off before you ever cared to understand why the work better.

I can play on my tv and win 4/5 games without a game mode and make WS and it’s 10 years old. I’ve had high dollar best of the best monitors for pc gaming where it will make a difference since way before this game had online gameplay. My point is the I’m magically early on every fastball, and a monitor is going to make someone a good player at this game just aren’t true.

Kinda on topic, but this website goes through input lags on TV and such. I have this TCL tv, and it has been good! I don't want to game on a monitor...
