3rd inning is a bust for me

OP is right. These bosses are a joke. You're going to grind for days to get one of these cards and they won't be on your squad come August. Two guys with no power and one guy who only crushes lefties. SMH. fail.

Chipper is only card who could make my bench as a pinch hitter, fielding and speed suck. He’s basically a lefty specialist only
Defense is important, but man, Chipper is always glitchy at the plate, and usually does fine fielding.
Chipper with his good attributes plays good...that makes him glitchy?
If you play far above your stats, it's glitchy. Glitchy bats tend to have the really quick swing (Suarez, Blackmon, Mondesi, etc), but what gets overlooked is the glitchy glove. Frank Thomas ALWAYS has terrific defense, despite almost always being a common level fielder. I can turn more difficult double plays with Frank than I can with Olson
Yeah i get that if you play above your attributes...but when good attributes play good...that is not glitchy

you can have Lightning Didi's stats, and still be glitchy. playing above your stats is playing above your stats, no matter what they are

They're not meant to be on your squad come August. The're meant to be competitive for the next couple of months or so. We're seeing, or at least I'm hoping, a linear progression of cards. I'm in hopes we won't begin to see the 99s until at least October or November.
The 3rd inning boss cards are more than competive, compared to the cards that are obtainable now (minus LS collection rewards and xp rewards of course). They are top cards now, and competive for the next couple of months.

Chipper as a bench bat?! I’ll take a bronze defender with good contact and pop who can hit from both sides of the plate any day of the week.

Ever tried out peoples advice before? Maybe one day you’ll try alternate swings on your cap who keeps the same attribute and you’ll understand.

88Con/88Pwr is still really solid IMO.

Conquest gave me one silver, a QS diamond and a gold card tho.
Too bad, they should have given you Trout and Bellinger guaranteed packs. Sds is so useless.

I mean no way that would be too easy. I’d rather flip cards 10 hours a day or pay $1,000 for the cards. That’s way better.

If Chipper doesn't have 125 across the board against any NY Mets pitcher, I'll riot.

Not all of us are loaded with high diamonds.

Negative. Never mentioned attributes. I said his cards are glitchy. Silvers, gold ect.(these cards tend not to have the best stats at the plate but his card usually performs).

This will be the first program I don't even bother with. I check in on the forums once a day to see if something positive happened, but otherwise I'm not playing until things get better, or the programs get better.

Well you never mentioned which card you were referring to...so be gone with your negative.
And actually the conversation was about his diamond card. So nice retroactive fix.

My apologies for not clarifying the cards I was talking about (to someone else). I'll be sure to be extremely clear from now on, so someone else doesn't jump to conclusions

Lol@to someone else ...didn't realize this was your own private forum....and no need to be that way...the conversation was clearly about the diamond card...but whatever not a big deal.

I quoted who I was speaking to. It's pretty simple, I was saying Chipper cards are glitchy, not because of his stats, but his cards are always glitchy (in general), that's it. I don't know why I needed to explain that again, but hopefully you got it this time.
-
Meh alot of this depends on where you are with your collections and your gameplan for the next few months.
Right now, Victorino could make my squad OF.
I've focused on a 90+ speed outfield with Robles, Buxton, and 87 Mantle in Right. Victorino could replace Buxton perhaps as he just has better stats overall.
I'm not sure about second because I pulled Madrigal and have been using him, but Robert's has great stats and is a switch hitter. Either way I'm fine, but will probably pick Victorino.
Chipper also looks good at 3rd because I dont have an actual OP primary 3rd baseman.
Note I picked Larkin who can only play short and I chose Hanley for the second inning. I've put him at 3rd base, but his defense there as a secondary is actually worse than Chippers.
