Just faced Alex Reyes for 7 innings, Kluber for the 8th and closes with Newhouser. Not sure why SDS is so concerned about tweaking the hitting timing window to be make hitting averages more life like when they permit this type of shenanigans.

Add to it these unrealistic diamond future star and prospect cards - how do they even come up with attributes for these guys? Is somebody really going to start Nolan Jones over Mike Schmidt in real life?

This isn’t baseball this is a sad sad joke.

Mike Schmidt is 70, so yeah, I’m taking Nolan Jones over Mike Schmidt

Correct. It's a video game. That said I do prefer an opponent with integrity.

Basically every game is like a World Series or CS playoff game... Which teams do stuff like that.

But being a Blue Jays fan I understand why you are not familiar with playoffs baseball.

I hate the SP thing too. They need to kill their stamina if they come in and also make them incapable of pitching for 2 games if they start or throw in relief.... maybe like in real life...

Don't worry, SDS will do this to ensure people spend stubs on more high end relievers once they are released.

Kluber my closer. I make World Series every season. Join the meta or lose because bullpen for the most part sucks. Rolly the only consistent real closer. They even made Eckersley bad. Not going to put bad pitchers in cuz it’s “not realistic”. Technically in ranked season we are in some type of playoff. Which mean starting pitchers will be in bullpen help.

Every game in RS has some sort of playoff implications. Whether you’re about to make the World Series or are trying to advance to the Divisional Round, every game is playoff like. IRL ranging from the all star game to a wild card game to an actual playoff game every pitcher is available. If available no team is going to use a crappy reliever when the have a perfectly good starter in the pen ready to go. Using starters as relievers in high stakes games is as realistic as it gets. It’s the reason we have Charlie Morton and David Price RP cards. People need to stop complaining and get over it.

U r playing the wrong game mode buddy. Although I do agree with your point about sp out of the pen. But if you want normal baseball, it's online head to head or franchise

No different than NBA 2K and the fantasy cards they release. Not saying I like it but it’s the state of current sports video games.

This makes the Show no diffrent than Madden. Exploits become the meta.

There goes one more Fanboy talking point

Is he dh‘ing for you or at the hot corner? Cause I bet he can still hit, but the fielding might not be there

Keep closing with kluber, guys like me feast on the opportunity. Guy brought in kluber up 2-1 in the bottom of the 8th on legend against me and second pitch I sent over the wall take the lead, Rollie shut him down, and that was game. Kluber is worse out of the pen

I'll play him at the hot corner.
