Get ready for Catfish Hunter with these p.o.s bosses
I was really good with Catfish last year. I'd be okay with that. Good speed differentials, smooth delivery, great control.

Don’t know why people are complaing, he’s a great fielding good arm outfielder, if anything it’s a free 35k. He easily replaces my cargo or Gallo in the outfield

Ah yes! Shane Victorino and Brian Roberts. 2 all time greats being perfectly represented. Hopefully we get a 92 Ron Karkovice, or 97 Jose Valentin next.
Wow Ron Karkovice, that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time.

My guess is the Bosses will be underwhelming this year as compared to last. The best cards will be found at the end of the TA paths, summer and fall. 99 Willie Mays will be the found at the end of the the Giants TA path for example...
I’m expecting the exact same thing! It’s the only reason I’m doing the Mariners, White Sox and Padres TA. Griffey Jr, Frank Thomas, Tony Gwynn 99s here I come!!

They just had Roberts as a henchmen in the 1st inning and he was a very memerable player compared to last years inning bosses and this years they suck. Last year the 3rd inning had alomar who for alot of people was an end game car. It seems like they are moving away from the sig cards which is fine but these are not great cards. Victorino is going to have probably 100+ contact R and L about 50-60 power maybe 88 or 90 speed and is a switch hitter. But Roberts is basically the same player at 2nd where they already have sanberg at 99. The bosses after this inning better be a lot better. Last year Lou was in the 4th inning and was a beast. So lets hope the 4th inning is better
The last boss has to be a relief pitcher maybe a prime gossage or prime billy wagner?

Last year ya'll got on here and complained that they were releasing 99s too early in the game cycle.
SDS listened and did as you asked.
This post has confirmed to SDS that they don't need to continue to listen to the community. They could give you a free trout at 50 stars and you'd complain that it's tanking the market and making it too easy for people to complete the collections.

My issue is that after they released artificial randomly boosted players that haven't played in the majors yet, they are now releasing these boosted afterthoughts for the prized selections in the third inning program. Both Victarino and Roberts are solid players that only their fanbases would be excited to get.

YEP THE INNING programs have been a total waste of time! Rather have starting pitchers and relievers then this hot trash garbage wow

Never thought we'd see a Ron Karkovice reference here. That was funny.
-
I’ll take the pitcher like every inning going back to last year.
-
So I guess no 2014 Mone Davis LLWS card then.
-
Last boss has to be a stud reliever

I never complained about too many 99s. Look back through my posts and you will see that I never complained about there being to many 99s released early. I will say some people were not deserving of a Sig card ie Huff and Gordon but I think with all the leagends that have played the game the ones that were 99 deserved it. So dont [censored] lump me in with those type of people because that is not me I think that compared to last year this are lack luster and are not deserving as inning bosses. So check your [censored] facts before you come in [censored] swingin.
He didn’t even say anything rude to you and you escalated the post. He was simply explaining why these bosses were underwhelming. There was absolutely no need for your comment
Then why quote my post just reply to the thread quote means you are specifically talk to that person

Before anyone complains about these bosses you gotta know this is a DIRECT result of the complaints of the “there are way too many 99s I can’t compete” crowd from last year
I don’t want 99 rated players overall but it’s about time we got some big names.

Who do you want exactly? They aren’t going to repeat inning bosses from last year and the only new “big names” are The big 3 braves, 1 of which just got a BR card, Ortiz, Mo, Mantle, Sheffield, and Biggio. I can’t emphasize enough that it IS still april/start of may. I am fairly certain the 3rd inning last year didn’t come out until the end of may/beginning of June. This is supposed to be a year long game. They are never going to release Griffey and Ruth this early

I'm in the Chamionship Series in RS (826) and I have both Oswalt (1st inning) and Feller (2nd inning) in my rotation and play plenty of teams with Helton or Hanley and some Joe Carter. These are good cards abd good players use them plenty.
I'm on the verge of Prestige with Oswalt too at which point he'll get a nice boost. Very excited.

The 3rd option could be a prime Dave Kingman too. If he has stupid power, that’s the route I’ll be going.
