We thinking a relief pitcher for the third then? Sutter/ Smith/ Percival all had mid 90's cards last year.

Maybe I was just spoiled with last year's 98 Bumgarner so early on... but none of these inning bosses so far have been anything to really motivate me to grind for. Yeah I get the reasoning about people complaining too many 99s but still these are hard to define as "bosses" to me.

I am usually not the kind of person to complain about a free card, but this third inning..🤮

I know I would rather have any of Feller, Carter, or Ramirez over these 2.
It's going to have to be someone like the 94 Aroldis Chapman or prime Goose Gossage to make up for this debacle.

My guess is the Bosses will be underwhelming this year as compared to last. The best cards will be found at the end of the TA paths, summer and fall. 99 Willie Mays will be the found at the end of the the Giants TA path for example...

The third is a righty hitter (or it could be another switch hitter). I am basing that on the first tease they posted. His jersey looks to have longer sleeves and that was more common during the 70's. I am really hoping for Carlton Fisk, but that probably won't happen.

I feel like there should not be any 99s in the game unless you prestige them. Save for maybe mickey mantle, but I don't like the idea of any of the cards being max attributes especially this early in the life-cycle of the game unless you have some cominbation of skill, dedication and/or a fat wallet.
if the kluber card was a 95 overall with a prestige to 99 I feel like that would have been a better solution than having every team now have a 99 kluber coming at you every 3 RS games.

Don’t know why people are complaing, he’s a great fielding good arm outfielder, if anything it’s a free 35k. He easily replaces my cargo or Gallo in the outfield

I’m expecting the exact same thing! It’s the only reason I’m doing the Mariners, White Sox and Padres TA. Griffey Jr, Frank Thomas, Tony Gwynn 99s here I come!!
