I have been so disappointed with this card. I was beyond excited when it came out and thought it would be Bert on steroids. Instead I have 6.3-something ERA and can’t figure out how to get results with it no matter what I do. My lifetime era is like 3.25 in over 400 RS games so he’s just been awful for me. For a card that should have he best command in the game it’s awfully average. Is anyone having success using this card?

I really wanted to like this card as a Giants fan and early era baseball fan but it just wasn't happening for me. I light him up when I face him and got lit up when I used him.

First start gave up 7 runs and haven’t used him since

I’ve faced him 4 times and I force him out of the game early. His fastball isn’t over powering and his off speed pitches are easy to time up

I think SDS dropped the ball for the older pitchers this year. Gibson, feller, Johnson, etc...play absolutely nowhere near their stats. 17’ Vida Blue was my best pitcher. Now, SDS doesn’t even put respek to his name.
