I feel like SDS is already looking to next year
-
Multi platform, Next Gen consoles, tons of new players. They have a lot on their plate. Just feels like the problems with the game have been reported to exhaustion and unless this is how the game is supposed to play, I don’t see the urgency from them to make improvements, unless it’s stopping exploits and what not.
I’m not enjoying this year’s game and quite truthfully have been feeling that way since 18. Gonna check out early and try to find a game that brings fun back to video games for me.
Just a suggestion if their listening, too much simulation is a bad thing imo. Video games were meant to be played by players, not the game itself. If I want to see real baseball I watch it on TV. Anyway, I’m out and on to my next. I’ll check out reviews for TS21 and I’d be happy to purchase it if certain aspects of the gameplay are improved. No need for me to talk about what I’d like to see, it’s been talked about enough. It’s on you now SDS, I’m cheering for ya!

They need to send out a survey so they know where to begin to fix their problems. I don't think they know what to do because the last 2-3 patches was suppose to improve fielding. Looking at the forum, I don't think their improvement is good enough.

I feel like the game is supposed to play this way, that refers to my too much simulation is bad comment. If they wanted to fix it they would have done so by now. There’s reasons, and we’ll never know why, they want it this way. All I can say is I myself do not care for the way the game plays and therefore I choose to walk away.

I’m looking forward to next year. Buy the game on pc and run it at 4k and high framerate.
I love the game but playing it on a ps4 isn’t the best. Come on pc version -
I wouldnt be surprised if over half their dev team is working on next gene. They would want as smooth a transition as possible especially with next year being their big year to try and cross platforms.
Side note but I'm also willing to bet a majority of those guys have been pulled off of their projects for next years game and moved to try and help solve all the fielding issues that this years game has. SDS is now working with a hard deadline of May 5 and it seems like they have a lot of work to do in just over 2 weeks to be ready.

SDS is always looking to the next year! It’s their “get out of jail free card”.

Even if th game is available on the next gen platform, it will still need to be available on PS4 for at least 1-2 more years. Production of the PS5 is probably pretty low with the world on shutdown atm and I doubt Sony will want to limit their game to a the small number of consoles that will be available at the time of launch. It will be a transition.
