In what sense? Not sure how it's a crutch...they literally used it as their tag-line and it really wasn't true at all. They never should have used that line, you're right- because they've been called out on it being utter bollocks. I'm not trying to be disrespectful, I'm trying to understand your point.
SDS' problem is for whatever reason they always feel like they need to re-invent the wheel, instead of building a better mousetrap if you'll excuse the engineering metaphor. The switch from Innings and Series to Sets and Seasons wasn't a bad idea in theory, they just implemented it very poorly, to the point where it was fairly widely panned(yes there are some who liked it, and that's fine).
Instead of building off of what works, they tend to erase it and put something different. Removing TA is a headscratcher for sure- there's no reason for that other than a blatant push to the Shop for stubs to buy the collection-finishers. This sort of thing began 3 or so years ago when they had the mass staff turnover and whole mentality changed. It's gaming as a whole and I think we need to accept it to a certain extent...but only a certain extent.

This game was already a huge disappointment for offline players this year, finding this out is an extra kick in the nads. Wish they'd revisit old TA models. I liked starting with common catd and having to work your way up to the diamond by grinding with them. There is zero thought put into this game this year.

@dfwrazorback_MLBTS There idea was to take away free cards and put them in packs. They can’t even give every team a card in these drops that were supposed to take the place of TA. It’s a failure on 2 fronts.

@Sarge1387_PSN because it’s what offline players non-stop complain about. They never should have put that out there. We are in 4th inning and some of yall still complain you can’t make it to the boss. That’s why it’s a crutch. Now is what SDS doing to yall fair, NO. But at some point people have to adjust to what it is. The whole TA was mind boggling that they just killed it.

@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS Ok that's fair. I personally have a difficult time making it to the boss because I frankly don't have enough time. Work full time, have tons of stuff going on outside of that, plus the game not being that good this year has nuked my desire to play a bit. I'm not blaming SDS for not being able to get the bosses(first year I don't have any)- but there's factors there that certainly aren't helping me either.

@Sarge1387_PSN Conquest is definitely a good grind option. TA use to included a huge conquest for each division and completing it would earn point towards the program. It truly bums me out that they’ve gutted content so royally.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN To add on...some more random Double XP wouldn't hurt. 1 full week here and there as opposed to the final Weekend of the Inning. Might go fairly far with the crowd having difficulty keeping up

I can't make any concrete promises at this point on what the future might or might not hold, but I can share it with the team.

I feel that they overcompensated which seems to happen too often.
The biggest issue with last years TA was it was unbalanced. Different team captains got different boosts, making some team captains more viable than others. Did any Cardinal theme team use Victor Scott II for his Speed and Fielding boosts? Then of course there was the issue of 5 teams never having a pitcher captain until the Finest Series
This year, if they are not going to add other team captains then those team captains should level up every 5 levels or so as the power creep advances. Releasing new versions of those players for the same team just means that we have to use a lesser card to keep the boosts or use the newer card and lose the boosts.

You need to get over this. You put in 6.5 hours a day for 60 days telling everyone that’s what they needed to do. You did it over 20 times in a single thread. It’s now the most commented thread in forum history. 15% is just you telling everyone to step their grind up.
It wasn’t normal, they adjusted it, it is the 4th inning your correct, stop trying to win a 3 inning old argument nobody agrees with you on. It’s just you still saying this everyday like it’s another job they gave you.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN appreciate the response. I imagine this stuff is planned way in advance. I wish I could play online but TMobile is my provider and for whatever reason nobody on TMobile internet can play head to head. So I rely on offline content and TA was always the best mode. Until the voucher system showed up last year. That really killed it. I really hope you guys ramp up the offline content. As it is now, I don’t see myself playing much longer as I have nothing to do.

@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS I have less than 6 days total on this game. I’m pretty sure I only brought this up for the 3rd inning. So get off my nuts, they are dragging the floor. People who barely play shouldn’t just get stuff.
