Funny I thought the goal of the pitcher (and catcher) is to get the batter out. If that means an up and in fastball then I believe they will do that. And I guarantee that they will go to that well as often as possible until the batter proves that they can hit it.
Now, if there is a flaw in the game that makes that an unhittable location then that is a different matter, but don't give me this bull "that’s not how baseball is meant to be".

Actually that's exactly how baseball is played. have you ever watched Chapman work the 9th inning? Pitchers work high and inside a lot and like others have said if it's working for me why would I stop doing it?

It’s a weird thing. Back in 17, the high inside fastball was much easier to hit. It’s still a hittable pitch, just not as easy. I can remember in 17 if you pitch high and inside in me I would launch it almost every time. Now, not so much. So yes, something has changed but, maybe it’s more realistic.

It was hittable because of the just late cheese in 17. You didn't have to time it up but you would still get a hit

Alexa, how do I delete a post? I’m wrong on this one y’all lmao, just had a guy spamming it last game with Ohtani and was just frustrated with it cause I was just not able to do anything with it. Y’all are right though, I’m outta pocket on this one
