Geese 100 Horses is deeply disturbing content and should be removed from the game
-
It's a serious issue and SDS does not seem to care much about working to retain their E rating. They pick music suitable for adults only and put it into a game openly advertised for children to adults.
-
So many of their song choice are questionable. Its an E rated game where they chose a bunch of songs that have explicit lyrics. I know that they choose the censored versions of these songs but I can't believe that they can't find songs that don't need to be censored in the first place.
A few years ago, they had Thin Lizzy "Boys Are Back in Town" and they censored the weirdest stuff in that song.

@theBlindRhino_PSN he didn’t say 6-7 yo, he said pre-teen (10-11?). Yeah he’s late on some conversations for sure; you can also explain what art means and that it doesn’t necessarily reflect reality or to be taken literally.
As you mentioned, jukebox off. Easy. I’m more offended by the quality of the songs picked but hey I’m not the targeted demo so it’s ok, I’ve had my time.
OP, don’t make me call in Dee Snider, you won’t be able to take it.
-
@yankblan_PSN That is why I use spotify on PS5 and play Perry Como.
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN well, if that’s true and you’re not being sarcastic, I ain’t the demo for that one either

-
You seem jaded. Everyone lives a much different life, and while my boy will surely learn many more things about life as he gets older, I think it’s unnecessary for him to be exposed to songs about dying in fear at this point in his life… from playing a baseball video game… like the most wholesome sport there is, and he’s exposed to that… you get what I’m saying here?
-
@a761506_MLBTS yes and you get that you can turn it off? Choice is good for everybody
-
I don't like most songs in videogames nowadays. This years soundtrack doesn't have any good bands I'm familiar with.
-
@a761506_MLBTS your soft and so is your kid
-
@a761506_MLBTS your soft and so is your kid
That's what your girl said
-
Im gonna be honest, I listened to the song, and it is not disturbing at all. Death is a natural part of life, and your son should be old enough to understand that.
-
I’m not the target audience either for the music. The FIRST thing I do (like many) is turn the music stuff off. Is it this year or last that had “The Sweater Song” and “Intergalactic” on it? Those were about the only ones I recognized.

-
Go back and listen to the lyrics of the last 15 years. The Soundtrack has always been disturbing.
-
@a761506_MLBTS your soft and so is your kid
Bro, uncalled for.. Everybody has there own way of raising their children. I respect the OP's feeling once having kids that age and on other hand I can respect the fact he can turn the jukebox off. To insult him and his kid is uncalled for. Try raising preteens and teenagers there is nothing soft about that.
-
“Dying scared” should not be a lyric in an E-rated game, especially a game that children play. Unacceptable. At ten, your child should not be hearing that from a song that’s disturbing even at our age. What the [censored] are you doing, SDS?
-
@Graeves-_PSN And not even properly censored sometimes.
-
How old is your son? If he’s under 12 he’s not paying attention to the lyrics anyway.
And if this disturbs him you’re a bad parent and he has zero chance to be successful or happy in life,
-
Soft. I agree that this kind of song shouldn’t be in this game but if that song actually disturbs a child the parents have failed.
-
Two things can be true:
-
This song shouldn’t be in this game.
-
Any kid that is truly disturbed by it has parents that are raising a child to be an unhappy failure.
-
-
I’m raising a teenager, preteen and a 7 year old.
My son loves The Show and has heard the song. We joked about how inappropriate it was because I taught him to think critically and not take anything too seriously, unless it deserves to be taken that way.
Parenting is really hard but it’s obvious every day which people were raised to be in the real world and which were not.
