Geese 100 Horses is deeply disturbing content and should be removed from the game
-
Deeply disturbing content? Seriously?
-
@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN you must have missed the part where he referenced his child playing the game when the song came on.
I understand, and empathize with, OP's issue as a parent.

No i didnt miss that part.

So many of their song choice are questionable. Its an E rated game where they chose a bunch of songs that have explicit lyrics. I know that they choose the censored versions of these songs but I can't believe that they can't find songs that don't need to be censored in the first place.
-
I don't disagree with you. I feel like finding a completely appropriate playlist is almost impossible these days. I know Pressure by Ari Lennox had a heavily toned down version on the Show a few years ago, but the regular version leaves little to the imagination.
-
Go into options, then jukebox, and click on the song. I won't play any more.
I understand I can do that, but only after the fact. My son was disturbed by it, asked me why people die scared, no exactly a conversation I was planning on having with my pre-teen boy who should have never been exposed to such lyrics to begin with in an E-rated game.
Oh so you know how to protect your kid from it but you want me to protect my kid to your standards? I always turn the music and commentary off but from the lyric you quoted and my experience with death it sounds like you want to shield your kid from reality. You can set up your system to play spotify while your kid plays and just play Baby Shark or Christian music instead.

It's a serious issue and SDS does not seem to care much about working to retain their E rating. They pick music suitable for adults only and put it into a game openly advertised for children to adults.

A few years ago, they had Thin Lizzy "Boys Are Back in Town" and they censored the weirdest stuff in that song.

@theBlindRhino_PSN he didn’t say 6-7 yo, he said pre-teen (10-11?). Yeah he’s late on some conversations for sure; you can also explain what art means and that it doesn’t necessarily reflect reality or to be taken literally.
As you mentioned, jukebox off. Easy. I’m more offended by the quality of the songs picked but hey I’m not the targeted demo so it’s ok, I’ve had my time.
OP, don’t make me call in Dee Snider, you won’t be able to take it.
-
@yankblan_PSN That is why I use spotify on PS5 and play Perry Como.
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN well, if that’s true and you’re not being sarcastic, I ain’t the demo for that one either

-
You seem jaded. Everyone lives a much different life, and while my boy will surely learn many more things about life as he gets older, I think it’s unnecessary for him to be exposed to songs about dying in fear at this point in his life… from playing a baseball video game… like the most wholesome sport there is, and he’s exposed to that… you get what I’m saying here?
-
@a761506_MLBTS yes and you get that you can turn it off? Choice is good for everybody
-
I don't like most songs in videogames nowadays. This years soundtrack doesn't have any good bands I'm familiar with.
-
@a761506_MLBTS your soft and so is your kid
-
@a761506_MLBTS your soft and so is your kid
That's what your girl said
-
Im gonna be honest, I listened to the song, and it is not disturbing at all. Death is a natural part of life, and your son should be old enough to understand that.
-
I’m not the target audience either for the music. The FIRST thing I do (like many) is turn the music stuff off. Is it this year or last that had “The Sweater Song” and “Intergalactic” on it? Those were about the only ones I recognized.
