Pretty decent add for Orioles fans, and hes a switch hitter so people will use him
-
A few days ago, someone created a thread asking which new legends could “move the needle” for MLBTS2026. I think the best possible answer to that question would be “not Ken Singleton.”
Eventually they should do an “All Commentator Theme Team.” Then we can get a Steve Stone Awards card for his Cy Young season.
-
Yeah none of these new legends are moving the needle for the people that only care about ARod and Bonds, but at least there will be a good deal of new players to use this year. Of course it will come at a price but if the model is to cycle cards around then its fine to lose a guy for a year or two.
We lost Damon last year, but he is back again this year. Cycling guys like that is not a bad idea.
-

@Teak2112_MLBTS I’m feeling pretty good about the list at this point. I’m still hoping for 1 more big name or a few more small ones.

My guess is we could still see a couple more in todays Stream. Whether a Collection rewards or a 1st inning XP boss.
Speaking of bosses and seeing what level some of these WBC players are I am worried that we are entering another year where the "Bosses" are anything but. They will probably be quickly out paced if they are not already outshone on day 1.
-
@Dolenz_PSN I’m guessing the bosses will be 90 like the WS rewards.
-
For reference, last year's Season 1 Bosses were 88s. (Manny, Beltre, McGwire)
-
@SaveFarris_PSN The Power creep started lower last year.
-
There are already 19 players announced with an OVR of 90 or above (not counting live series) so anything under 90 is unacceptable.
I understand this first inning is more crowded thanks to the WBC but I will always be of the opinion that the Bosses should be the best players during their "inning" XP Path. They should be close to where the power creep will end for the inning not where it starts.
-
@Dolenz_PSN Most people won’t have some of those guys like the Dodgers collection, division collections, Chase card etc. Are any of them reasonably cheap/easy to get?
I do think they should be one of the best non collection cards of the inning. I’d like to see a 91-92, but I’d bet 90.

People will grind it early so it shouldnt be too bad to buy it early in season if you sell your first couple diamonds
