Who is your right fielder?
-
Hi guys,
I have been playing the game for the last month or so. I am building a pretty good team... except for my right fielder.
I have played with Rap Dixon and Kyle Stower, with variant results.
Right now, I use Tony Gwynn.
I am curious to see who you guys play in the right field.
Keep in mind that I am not swiming into stubs, being new to the game (I have about 130 000 avalaible).
I am also looking for someone who's fast and better at contact than power (I am very bad at hitting home runs so, I prefer a player who can go on bases, steal second and score from there on a single).
I look in the market, but could not find someone who would be perfect for me. The candidates are either not fast enough or too bad on defense.
Maybe someone from the Color Storm program than can't be bought but I could grind for?
Any suggestions?

Not in right field, Who is on first base.
-
Spotlight Corbin Carroll
-
@PAinPA_PSN I have Rod Carew on 1st base. But he i[censored]ting nine.
-
I don't give a darn is at short.
-
I use Gwynn sometimes just cause I've always been a fan of his, but for my main team I typically use LS Corbin Carroll. Solid speed on the bases and in the field, with some pop as well.
-
@pacadie09_MLBTS Carroll and he’s free.

Carroll seems to be the obvious choice.
I looked how to unlock him. I miss two Spotlight cards to do so, with one (April 4), being almost impossible for me to get (the moments ask to hit like 4 or 5 HR, when I hit HR at the rythm of one every 18 or 27 innings. I know, I am bad).
I might have to buy Spotlight cards to get the XP points needed to finish the April 4 program, and then shortcut the problem.
I will study all that in the next days.
Thanks for your input, guys. Alway appreciated!!!

That moment isn't required to get the players.

Mainly playing my cardinals Squad so Victor Scott II since Edmonds does not have a secondary and his captain boost is better than Scott II so I need to keep Edmonds in.
-
@pacadie09_MLBTS Rickey Henderson would be my suggestion. You can get his "Egg Hunt" card by completing Diamond Quest.
-
LS Tatis has been a monster for me. Power, speed on base and excellent fielding.
-
@Dolenz_PSN CF don’t lose much playing a corner even with no secondary. You’d be better off with Edmonds on a corner and Scott in CF.
-
RF is one of my “rotating spots”. I originally had Trout there, until I p5’d him.
I’ve used 91 Baines, Moonshot Clemente and Topps Now Garcia card since. I have Corbin Carroll on my bench. He pinch runs and steals 2nd and 3rd regularly for those guys in late innings!!

Spotlight Carrol is your guy

You can easily play both, put one in LF/RF, they will do fine, trust the fellow old-guy

Corbin carroll , 2 for 3 with a triple first game mercy .
-
Harper is mine
-
New Harper for me. Went 6 for 6 first game vs CPU so he’s staying. Tatis will play LF out of position
-
I finally unlock Carroll this week-end. Can't wait to try him.
As for Harper, I have a lot of grinding to do before unlocking him!
