Freddie's market..

Thoughts on Freddie Freeman's market for those who like myself invested in him. His price isnt going up like many including myself thought would once he hit 90 as a diamond. As more packs become available and him being more rare to pull being a 90..Shall we hold our inventory on him in case he does go up again? Or sell what we have now for a small profit as he continues to drop.. I bought into him for about 7 to 8k 2 weeks ago. But I know some bought him later for higher. Sell or hold? Thoughts?

I'd sell now only because I have no idea what the market will do going forward. If you stand to make a decent profit, I'd sell. I can't see his card getting too high
-
He’ll only be hard to acquire for late-adopters.
He might go up fractionally, but he won’t reach the heights of those who started there (Shohei, Ramirez, Judge, etc)
-
He didn't go up because supply is already high due to being a low diamond to start.
Scarcity determines price.
-
I wouldn’t invest in a diamond going up. The quicksell value doesn’t go up enough to offset what you would have paid. Not enough people need him anymore.
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN true but at 7 to 8 k. when I bought like 20 of him. I will still make a profit if I sell him now at his current price. I was just wondering if I should just take the small profit now or hold for later potential. I'm Ohtani short of the live series collection. Sitting on 350k in stubs NMS.

Yall think his price ever going to go up
-
It might take a while for him to go up mainly because there are a good amount of his LS cards already in circulation since he was an attainable mid-high purple diamond for over two months.
I pulled Freddie a few hours ago. My first LS where I saw blue lights and of course it's the one card that is only going for 20k. Then I pulled Ohtani about 15 minutes ago so I'll stop whining about bad pack luck for a long while.

@datnickdogg351_PSN Sell … The price will not rise to Judge-like-plateau since a lot of ppl could get him for 5K … (which was not the Case for Jram, Judge, Ohtani etc.))
-
@YOSHI24_XBL I never thought he was going to be those prices after being upgraded..but maybe mid 40 to 50 k.. Kind of like the value of Skubal is it at. I didn't expect just 20k. Which is still good for me if i sell all of mine that I bought. Got mine between 7 and 8k anyways..

You cannot compare Freddie to Skubal. Skubal was way rarer being an 87+ … Freddie was close to quick-sell, that matters a lot. A majority of ppl are only missing the big guys rn

He will stay a 15 k card lol for here in our maybe 20
-
I haven't had to buy Freddie since I got him in the first week of release.

I would sell. As others have said most collectors already have him from when he was a lower diamond and easy to pull. These LS cards always lose value the farther you get in the game cycle. Even the gate keepers will decline as more people complete the sets and SDS makes them easier to pill. The market has been a real [censored] shoot this year with only solid investment as those guys who go from gold to diamond or silver to gold on roster updates.
