I get that but I start to wonder when I read on another post so take it what it’s worth that the “algorithm” takes into account past odds of spending money. This year I’m completely no money spent and I have seen a decline in my diamonds.
Al least in previous years I would get those obligatory 85s lol

That is super bad luck you have gotten -- I think and it's possible I am forgetting someone but 7 to 8 diamonds for me but no high one's to this point.

I have not spent a penny extra (beyond the Deluxe edition purchase) on the game in probably 6 or 7 years and I have managed to pull 2 or 3 low diamonds from standard packs so far. I don't think that there is anything nefarious. Just the luck (or lack thereof) of the draw.

I wouldnt buy too much into the "takes into account past odds of spending money" thing. 2017, 2018 and 2020, i spent A LOT of money on packs and never pulled a single diamond until i went full on NMS in 2021 and havent spent a dime since. Aside from the digital deluxe edition, of course.
So far this year from free packs, ive pulled 9

I just pulled my 1st diamond last night, it was 88 overall Zach Wheeler, so far that's the only diamond that I've pulled

My first and only LS diamond so far this year was the 10 win reward in an Event run...

I haven't bought any packs. I completed all conquests, played about 15 RS games, and am about halfway thru a mini seasons. Pulled Ohtani, Tatis, Tucker, Soto, Semien, Bichette, Riley, and Castillo. Not great but not horrible.

I seem to be getting nothing but common free agents out of regular packs, obviously the Ballin' is a Gold is self explanatory, haven't really had too many from the TA programs as I haven't yet decided which division to focus on first

Pulled 6 diamonds from the packs I received with the digital deluxe edition
I’ve opened probably 4x that since and only pulled one ls diamond and diamond equipment
