2022 early access on 4/1, regular release 4/5
2021 regular release on 4/20 (1st year of xbox integration presumed reason for late release)
2020 early access on 3/13, regular release 3/17
2019 regular release on 3/26
2018 regular release on 3/18
2017 regular release on 3/28 -
Thank you SDS, for delaying relaying release until I get home from our family's cruise vacation.
I'm sure that was taken into account.

@SaveFarris I want to say MLB The Show 21 also released late due to the pandemic. This release does appear to be a week earlier than usual but as I look at the Mets 2024 schedule on my desk their first game is on 3/28 so with the season starting late March that's probably why they got the game to release the week prior.

Count me in … It‘s the only time, that any „release“ (game-wise :)) favors living in Europe. The last years I could set my alarm at 5 am and grind the heck out of it while you guys gonna go get some sleep at some point

If the wide launch is Tuesday, 3/19, does that mean preorders will get to start on Friday the 15th? I’ve taken a day off work the last two years for the preorder Friday, and both times ended up being a waste due to server outages. I already have Friday 3/15 off anyway, so I might be able to save myself from using a sick day.
