I would say, no, he is not getting both.
If I was placing my bets, although I am not much of a gambler anymore, I would say he'll get a top tier All-Star card, along with Acuna, and it will probably be a rare round in a choice pack to get people to spend stubs.

I realize things may be different this year with seasons but do you realize just how often over the years SDS has not given a POTM card to the person who won the actual award from MLB? Last year, Judge, Goldschmidt and Arenado accounted for half of the actual POTM awards and none of them got a card.
Tatis Jr is in danger of not making the all-star team and could earn a Lightning if they give Ohtani an All-Star card. He is second in June in both Offensive WAR and overall WAR

I think Ohtani and Acuna both likely get 99 overall allstar cards being the top vote getters from their respective leagues. Ideally these could be program xp path cards but I could see these being collection rewards or (hopefully not) in packs.
If they choose to do a team affinity type system for allstar cards this year, it’s looking like Mike trout is going to get voted in this year as well for the angels and there are numerous other options from the braves that could get a team affinity card as well which would free up Ohtani and acuna to have 99s.
In terms of POTM, I think we could see a guy like Corbin Carroll getting it as he also having a very good month (Ohtani has obviously been better but they won’t give him two 99’s).

He needs one of those Sportflix cards except he’d be all six players
Remember how awesome those were the first few years

Shohei is working on getting the best player of all time card. The guy is unreal. Most pitchers need a few days to recover after 1 start. He’s out there playing every game and leading the AL in home runs and close in ERA. Its mind blowing. Back to you question though he definitely deserves the POTM card. It doesn’t even matter what he does the rest of the month. He should still win it. Will he get it? Probably not. He already has a really good 99 card. Now that I think about it though….SDS set 1 is almost over. Give us that 99 Ohtani.
Also I still want a 99 Cedric Mullins in Diamond Duos. Lol That’s off topic but I had to throw that out there

I was thinking that they have been better with that this year, at least as far as the lightning card goes. Both Chapman and Judge deserved those lightning cards. That bodes well for Harris or Ohtani. Both of which will, likely, be all stars.
I think POTM lightning card will more likely be Harris because there will be far more AS Braves than Angels. Angels won't have more than three, while the Braves could have more than 7 all stars. It's not likely Ohtani will do the HRD with his cracked fingernail, so I would think they'll put Trout or Estevez(only possible Angels pitcher) as the team All-star and have Ohtani be one of the 99 Ovr season rewards.
Give Moniak or Drury a 97 POTM card to appease the Angels fans for not getting the most deserved card, so far, this season. But, since when has SDS been concerned with appeasement. So Giancarlo Stanton, Freddie Freeman, and Fernando Tatis will get all the good cards.

I’m totally ok with Harris getting POTM. We need another good centerfieder. Plus I really love his swing. That could be a really good carb tbh.
