SDS has been great at content in general, but this one is a little too out there for me, personally. I think it’s a little childish and silly, but also completely irrelevant. It’s a baseball game, let’s stick with that guys.

I totally get what your talking about and where you are coming from. All i want is a [censored] baseball game as close to simulation and real life as you can get..PERIOD.(with the exception of some aspects such as playing with legends who are not alive today etc)...i dont care about monsters, and the card "art" does virtually nothing for me.

These forums have become so toxic over the past few years. I used to enjoy coming here to talk about baseball and this game and now I spend my time scrolling through one silly complaint after another. And some of these people go off the deep end with the complaining. I never have understood why someone would continue to torture themselves by playing a game that they seemingly don’t like. Instead they spend their free time complaining about it rather than finding something else enjoyable to do. And I want to point out that the complaints are usually based around the skill features of the game like directional hitting verses zone and the different pitching modes. It’s always the person who wants to compete at a high level using a less skillful approach rather than putting the effort to perfect the skilled approach. I guess it’s just another commentary on the society that we live in where people just want to be given something without having to do anything. When I was growing up those people were called lazy.

I think it's cool.Sure. In certain modes maybe. But it is stupid to have hovering ufos and dinosaurs above the stadium in a competive RS game.

The optimist in me suggests it is SDS trying to create interest in the Japanese market with a view to having the NPB (and Japanese commentators) in the game (which would be pretty cool).
The realist in me suggests it is more likely a new writer spoke to his 8 year old and used his suggestions.

Stop. It’s just people who want the game/mode to be better. How else would you like them to give feedback?
And some of the posts you guys label as “complaining” are actually very tame.
You don’t understand why people would kinda complain about a video game on an online forum? Yeah…well I don’t understand people who would complain on a forum about people complaining on a forum.

I kind of liked it. Minus the stadium with the weird shadows. Strausberg throws in it in the final showdown. That one sucks. But I’m guessing they will rotate through the different mini season teams.
I played the moments and yeah the space craft causing those shadows was annoying at the start but once I settled in I was good to go... guess I can expect the same thing in Events and Showdown.

Definitely can understand how some have players will have this take
But I’m fine with it. It’s something new and different from the same repetitive card series we’ve had for the past couple years
You gotta admit, some of the new card art looks incredible
As long as it doesn’t affect gameplay it doesn’t bother me too much. They’ve generally done great with content so they’ve definitely earned the cred to put out something iffy every now and then. The Alter Ego cards looks awesome. The Kaiju card are is great outside of the cheesy little dinosaur in the bottom right.
I will say this. That bug pulls my eyes away from the pitcher sometimes.
