that is not true at all!! you got to take away 15 hours for me for god sake you don't get it/... it is 12am for you big deal it is 3pm for me I have lost 15 hours... if the game came out on midnight like it should from midnight Friday to Tuesday it is 96 hours!!!!!! but not it is 3pm for me to midnight tuesday for me which is 81 hours. for god sake learn maths and time zones.

by your standards your saying my 96 hours will end at 3pm on Tuesday.apperently our day starts at 3pm by your logic.

the full release is at midnight Tuesday therefore I am losing 15 hours.

Anyhow this is all beside the point. after 10 years this game has decided not to release at midnight for me why the change?? even if what you say is true it makes no sense why they have changed this.

Nobody gets, why you lose … I live in Germany, „my release“ is 5 am. Every other German gets the game 4 full days later.

btw: 22 released exactly the same (in Germany 6 am because we had time shift before release, this year it is after that)

I would love a 6am release at least I could take the day off work get some sleep and wake up happy ready to play., I get what you guys are saying by 4 days wait... so what you are saying is even the actual release will be delayed to 3pm as well??? well that is pathetic as well and even worse. that would be the only game release I know of where they have not released at midnight if that is the case. that is a joke. once again someone from Sony needs to explain why this is the case for a baseball game.

I had a nice tradition for watching a baseball movie on the Thursday night counting down to midnight for release. now ruined for m.

Nobody has to explain anything imo … The game releases 12 am ET (USA). Period (if you like it or not 🙂 ) … and again: it was the same last year

If the actual game releases at 3pm for for everyone else in Australia on the 27 then you get the full 96 hours.

You only lose time if early access for you starts at 23rd at 3pm and then the game releases at midnight your time on the 27th. But I am guessing that will not be the case.

A game like this makes sense for global release times instead of staggered releases based on each time zone. If you get to start playing on 15 hours ahead of others then that would give you an unfair advantage on the marketplace.

It’s advertised 4 days early access, not 5. You get 4, just like us.

Apparently he gets 4 days and 9 hours but he's still mad lol

thank you for this post today - you are a perfect example of someone who is wrong but digs their boots into the mud further to reinforce their original point - take a minute and get an education for yourself mate - google "time zones" and see how they work

Since the OP ( @Addy81_PSN ) is a "self-proclaimed expert" in time zones, let's make this easy.

MLB The Show 23's early release is March 24, 2023 at midnight Eastern Time. That is GMT -4. This is what is advertised and this is what will happen.
MLB The Show 23's regular release is March 28, 2023 at midnight Eastern Time. That is still GMT-4. This is what is advertised and is what will happen.

The OP needs to figure out his time zone in Australia and then he will know when the release is for him. The buyer has to figure that out for himself...just like I do since I live in California, USA (GMT -7 with daylight savings). Nobody is getting ripped off. The game is released at the same time for everyone for the version they purchased. The game was never advertised to be released at midnight in any other time zone but Eastern. If the OP thinks the game has been released at midnight in an Australian time zone before, then I want some of what he is using, because it must be a good hallucinogen.

The Australian full release time is 3 pm on Tuesday. It's 96 hours of early access for everyone. All released times have always been midnight eastern time. Adjust accordingly for your time zone, which is 3pm
