Didn't when they dropped the last big collection last year it was Griffey but you got Foxx in that as well. I bet Dibble is where Foxx was last year.

That’s gotta be it. Dibble’s gonna be great, but I don’t think SDS would make him the final big collection. A reliever as the last big collection would be a big L. The only pitcher I would accept is Verlander.

Yeah I hope so. I mean they did say during that livestream last week that the collection reward this Friday would be the greatest MLB the show card ever. I specifically heard that and no way is that Dibble or any reliever for that matter. Don't get me wrong Dibble is a bad man and I'll have him in my pen and don't want to face him but if he's the actual final collection reward then SDS is more tone deaf than I thought.

Rob Dibble is A last collection reward.
For those of you with memories longer than 11 months, you'll recall the final Collection release was two-tiered: Foxx and Griffey.
Dibble is the 1st. The "Best card of all time" will be the 2nd.

Im hoping this is the case. No way Dibble will be worth the stubs needed to complete the big collection. I dont mind it being a pitcher and Dibble is a good choice but he alone is not worth the stub sink. There has to be a position player after him and it better be Mantle.

It’s not dibble as the final collection reward- he’s apart of the earlier rewards in the final collection program

They may have Dibble this year because he plays the game. This is a collection I'm going to work for. I've been using his Rookie card all year, and I can't wait to see him as a diamond.
I was hoping to see Jeter as this collection reward. He has really been promoting himself lately, so I was hoping this would be his introduction to the game.
They wouldn't waste Derek Jeter this late into the current game cycle. He is the kind of name they would use to promote the upcoming title and sell a boatload of copies.

I said this very thing over the past weekend, but people said SDS mentioned this was the final collection on the stream last week. However, the wording on the Calendar is the next big collection and the Twitter post from today says another big collection arrives tomorrow. They usually call it the last or final collection.
Against just as you said, I could be reading into this too much, so just an observation. -
Wasn’t Clayton Kershaw the final collection reward last year? I thought it was but I’m forgetful

As long as Dibble is part of the collection and not the reward I’ll be pumped. There’s outlier fastballs and then there’s the Dibble and Nolan fastballs.
