We just got a boat load of new cards and some of them are insanely good. So who are your top 3, 5, 10 or however many cards you feel like listing.

    In no order-

    1. Mookie Betts- Lightning POTM 99- Wow, I really wanted an Arenado but this turned out pretty great too.

    2. Randy Johnson- Still the ultimate starter

    3. Billy Wagner Takashi 99/Aroldis Chapman Retro Finest 99- this is cheating but these two are destroyers of batting averages.

    4. Jimmy Rollins- Retro Finest 99- switch hitter, amazing speed, amazing defense, hits everything.

    5. George Brett retro Finest 99- Still my favorite 3B.
      😶

I haven't tried any of the new Legends of the franchise so this list could totally change. Curious who you all think.

I am at a loss for words with how much I like the new Ozzie Smith. Since they gave him power, he hits it all over the park. Nice easy swing. I have never liked any of his cards before this one. I'm looking forward to spending more time with my Joe Morgan card, but so far he seems great.

I have to agree with Wagner/Chapman, but I always do well with them.

POTM Nootbar is surprising too. I only played him to get Mookie, but I like him more than Mookie.

Finley, really? I hit well with him in past games. Picked him but haven't used him yet.

Finley has the best swing in the game and it's not particularly close imo

Yea he might be my new #1. I’m new to using him but I’ve hit 2 walk offs already with him. He hasn’t done anything wrong yet.

    1. Hank- best card by a mile, good stats, speed, defense and can play almost anywhere.
    2. Jimmy- switch hitter, speed and good power at a position that is usually hard to fill
    3. Cutch- just a clutch hitter who is solid across the board, I mocked the choice as a collection reward but I love him.
    4. Brett- still one of the top hitters and it feels like he came out last year.
    5. Chapman/ wagner- I agree these guys are so similar, get one of then and you won't regret it. Get both and your only issue will be who to use as setup and who closes.

Tons of starters that all seem very similar to me so hard to differentiate. Randy is still tops, but Nolan, Grayson, Pedro and Wood all put in work.
Soto still crushes but he has been moved to the bench because of his defense otherwise he would make the list.
Gehrig, Frank, Ortiz, Those and Prince are all basically the same person but Frank hits right handed so take your pick.
I always love Mookies swing but vision and nerfed speed means he is going to get passed up really soon. The new Clemente is pretty nice also for a free card. Lightning Devers still might be my favorite card this year even though he has not been in my lineup for a while.
    I still can't find a catcher I like.

There are a ton of new cards that have come out recently. For me the best 5 are the one's I do the best with and not necessarily the consensus top 5. Remember every card that works for someone might not work for others. I don't know why that is but it is. LOL

RF George Brett, FS Oneil Cruz, FS Riley Greene, POTM Yordan, and FS Corbin Carroll are who I want at the plate in a big situation. Unfortunately, they're all lefties, so if I want all those guys in my lineup then I'm a little limited elsewhere. Thankfully I've also had good luck wiith RF Bill Mazeroski, Awards Kaline, and MS Yadi.

I also really love Carew (another lefty!!), Awards Bellinger (omg another one!) and FS Yoelqui Cespedes (FINALLY). In fact, I've had a lot of fun with so, so many of the 95-96 FS from the program (Henry Davis, Josh Jung, Elly de la Cruz, Korey Lee, Harris, Hassel, Thomas, Melendez, Toglia, Gunnar, Pratto, Shea, Watson etc.)

A lot of the newer players I haven't used yet because I was grinding our Battle Royale. Finished that this morning so now on to grind out 250 innings in Ranked.

Of the ones I have used a lot, Brett by far is my best hitter followed by Jackie Robinson. McCutchen has been good. I love Frank Thomas and Roberto Clemente.

I now have Gwynn, Boggs and Rollins in my lineup and can't wait to see what happens with them. I suspect Gwynn will be in my top 5 soon and I hope Rollins is. Now if they give us a 99 Honus Wagner then all bets are off!!

Dude, Rollins is a monster. Granted I was playing on Veteran against the cpu but my first game with him he went 5-6 with two bombs and the cycle.

Haven't tried Gwynn or Bpggs except the moments but they both have great swings. I think Boggs was a cult fan favorite last year and like Ozzie, his power is much higher this year.

These new cards are pretty darn good!

I'm gonna throw a lineup of all new players together tonight and see who I click with.

Wade Boggs has been taking names and chewing bubble gum for me, except he's all out of bubble gum

Never liked Boggs cards until I did his moment, hit two bombs back to back ... Hmmm me thinks I'm on to something

I'm still working on my collection for Rollins to replace Cruz at SS. 99 Wagner would really finish my team off. I like to put him at 1B/3B to add more speed, but it's looking more like he'll stay at first if or when he arrives. The Flying Dutchman is my hero.

If anyone is curious I'm hitting .386 with Finley with 8 HRs in 44 ABs in event games. And that was after a 2-20 start lol

He’s so cracked. Used him doing the conquest today. He went 9 for 14 with 5 home runs,2 doubles and a triple. I know that’s not as impressive as you in events but man what a card.

Is Aaron’s swing better than his card from last year? I just couldn’t get him going for me then.

First at bat with Rollins, veteran level in Conquest, home run. Also executed a beautiful hit and run with Jackie Robinson on first. Ok, I love the Rollins card!

I had Cruz at SS then bought Ripken to replace him. Cruz on defense was wicked good. Ripken is a great overall SS. But now I have Rollins so he gets to play.

I had to spend around 300K to finish off the remaining cards I needed to get Rollins but I had over a million so that was ok. And worth it.

Kyle Stowers is up there for best swing IMO.
