Pujols now at 697 just 3 away from being the 3rd player to 700(not a typo)
Still took me a second though.

That’s gotta be a CAP name.

Of the 3, I'm most confident in Judge. Pujols is probably 50/50. Trout who knows

Sure sounds like one but.....
Richard Dale Long was an American first baseman in Major League Baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Browns, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees and Washington Senators between 1951 and 1963. Listed as 6 feet 4 inches tall and 205 pounds, he batted and threw left-handed.

Trout homered tonight for the 7th staright game. now 1 away from tying griffey mattingly and some guy in the 1950s for consective games homer streak.
Pujols now at 697 just 3 away from being the 3rd player to 700(not a typo)
Judge at 55 homers just 6 away from tying maris
Its almost certain now for pujols but what about the other 2?
And Framber Valdez has tied Jacob de Groms Quality Start streak for a season and is 2 away from Bob Gibsons mark of 26 done over 2 seasons.
-
Trout coming up batting second in the 8th inning, probably his last chance to continue the streak.
Trout flies out and thats probably going to snap his streak. It was fun while it lasted though.
-
Judge has just hit a home run to tie the NY/Boston game at 3. He now has 56.
Top 8, Judge does it again 57
-
I kind of don't want Judge to get to 62, because the amount of sanctimony about "the clean record" will be too much to bear.

He has to get to 65. Although if he keeps hitting 2 a game then he has a chance to actually hit 73/74 and either tie or break the record entirely.
The last time a MLB player hit 57 home runs or more in a season was actually his teammate Gencarlo Stanton in 2017 wih 59.

Judge sure picked a good year to stay healthy. He is playing awesome and will get paid handsomely as a free agent.

Just like Drew Brees. Mediocre QB until his last year in San Diego when they drafted Phillip Rivers. (Eli Manning then trade for Phillip Rivers)
