Who has Beaten the Dev's God Squad?

I tried it once. Tied it on a 2 run homer and then completely screwed the pooch the rest of the game.

I beat it first try can’t get past the first boss on showdown. I’m not even gonna try anymore on showdown.

Think I needed 3 tries for that. Finest Pierre hit a lead off HR to start and knew if I could push to extras I’d get the W. Took it to extras and didn’t let anyone on base (thanks finest Chapman) and all done.
Now, the moment down 7-1…..that one killed me. Took it on each day after release and could get 5-6 runs, but failed to push the last one across.

I passed on SD as well man. Greinke owed me. Beat all moments and conquest, P5 wood and now 9 points away from Donaldson. Hoping with content this weekend and BR program I can maybe finish the XP route.

I am at 54 points already have Wood at P5 only need the last mission for wood to complete at 10,000 but over half way down with that. I completed CQ and a few of moments.

how did you p5 wood so fast mate? im getting like 250 points max per conquest 3 inning game with him - its too slow for me

I remember watching his 1st career HR as a member of the Phillies.
I thought Harry Kalas was going to have a heart attack.Yeah man I was just intending to sit and have Nolan walk to ge ton base but it was a middle up fastball and got a PP result and just watched it fly….definitely set the tone and mindset that “I can do this”

lot's of CQ on Rookie striking out 5 to 6 batter's a game. I use him to finish the Extreme CQ, Then I completed the US map again, I Had 25 strongholds left to take over. I pitch him the whole game. On my US Map a month ago I took over every space except the Strong holds just for fun, When I finished the Extreme Map I went back to the US Map I only had to play the games which help it not be so slow.

I loved doing this game. I surprised myself, but it helps to have juiced up players.
I'm a PCI dropping offline player, so it felt good to score 4 in the ninth to win 5-2. -

Here's some unsolicited advice.
Take pitches: The further up you go in difficulty vs. CPU, the less strikes you see. By a lot. Like 3 balls for every strike.
Sit in a spot: I gave Ryan down and sat change up. Walked twice and Carpenter hit a high change up to South America.I actually preferred HOF hitting to All-Star. You need to have a plan for every at bat.
took me idk a few tries and that was purely bc I would reset if I didnt score first inning, beleive I put up 5 or so and was easy enough.

I won that game with 2 lucky singles in the 1st followed by a Yordan Alvarez perfect perfect BOMB. Pitched well and hung on to win 3-2. I have completed everything that I realistically am capable of. Sitting on 91 points. The rest will be PXP grind.

i calculated approximately 40 more conquest games with him pitching almost 3K's per inning on rookie
i just cannot wait to get that Chapman card and i am skipping showdown for lack of interest more than anything - if i wanted to be frustrated with my time i'd take up fishing

I tried the showdown one time, that was enough. I want he Donaldson card. I got his 88 to P4. He is my fav 3rd to use in the game. I have used others off and on. It will take me about another 30-35 CQ games to complete from where I am at.

lol, I beat it the second time, but dad gum extreme is way hard...ive gotten to Ryan once and wouldn't hit him to save my life....the rest of the time I go out on Helsley or Chapman.tried it about 20 times. I decided getting 25k pxp was more beneficial to me to actually make it to the end.

Let Nolan throw junk, he will walk you or try to get back in the count and serve you good pitches to hit. They put a reliever when I had him at 90 pitches and scored my first run. I believe they went to another RHP and then to Mariano. Can’t remember the 2nd RHP

I beat the dev squad. Best easyadvice I can give u is use a good lead off guy like Lofton or Juan Pierre and stack up few strong left bats after that. Try to hit a 2 or 3 run bomb in the first inning and then try to shut them down your pitching. Also if you don’t score a couple runs in the first inning you might wanna start over right away. They will pull Ryan if you score a couple in the first.

I thought Harry Kalas was going to have a heart attack.He has sneaky power, I've hit a few home runs with him but if you hit one to the gap it's a easy triple for him.
I've got 2 moments left, the come back from 7-1 down and the devs favorite team. May just leave both them.
