The only card of the 4 rewards I would like to get is, unfortunately, Donaldson. Conquest is very easy and the moments all seem doable. I wonder how long it would take me to repeat the PXP mission 9 times so I can skip showdown? I should have JD by March…. Maybe.

Woke up determined to beat Showdown so I didn’t have to P5 Wood and grind 2 25k Pxp rewards.

I had lost to Chapman my first 2 showdown attempts but got strategic on my draft this morning and beat Chapman with 4 outs remaining and Ryan with 3.

I had all 100 plus contact vs lefty in lineup a Randy and defeated him with 17 outs to go ( he was easiest of the last 3 due to my drafting).

Feels good to be done. I am a slightly above average player so if I can do it, any of you can.

Good luck and thanks for reading. My wife and daughter would just roll their eyes on my excitement.

Congrats!!! But let’s be real, you’re much better than a “slightly above average player”…. 🤣👊

Long time I did all of conquest extreme and my bar on my 1st one hasn’t even reached the halfway point. Best to wait for the new mini season update in a couple days, play lots of games at home on rookie difficulty at the pxp created stadium we’re the ball flys and go to town grind the new rewards and packs as well 2 birds one stone .

Nice work, that showdown is nothing short of gnarly. Chapman is killing me. I’m consider a lefty with the shift so I can’t bunt a guy on at this point lmao. I tried really good righties but I still struggle LHP vs RHH now matter how good they are so I’m kinda hooped until I run into one.

    Congrats tho!!

Conquest took a lot of time but not really difficult. The packs were nice, filled in some guys I was missing for collections and was able to sell dupes. I have not even attempted showdown. I have to be in the right mindset.

It actually goes quicker than you think, it’s still a grind but if you don’t think you can take Nolan or Randy deep with Micheal Papierski it’s really the only option.

Not sure about anyone else, but I just started sitting on off-speed for Nolan after he completely shut me down my first few attempts. I have an almost impossible time with that heat on such a high difficulty. His 102 feels faster than anyone else's 102 for some reason.

Was able to work a few walks, but nothing else until he hung me a change up when I was down to my last strike which I was able to hit for a walk off homer from Paul Konerko. My only hit the entire round.

I can think of a million things I would rather do than pay 500 stubs to try and get hits off of 99 overall pitchers with a bunch of common hitters.

That's awesome man, congrats. I have 3 points from the one moment I attempted so basically we're the same.

Ok, not exactly. But seriously it's cool to see good dudes finish this thing.

I skipped Nolan after he dominated me the first time. It’s easier to score 11 runs against Randy than 2 against Nolan. Unbelievable

Thats because all 3 of Ryans pitches come out of his hand the same, hard to tell until they dropped(or didnt). Randy didnt need to do that he had that incredibly high release point, which while it makes his pitches unhittable you can tell the junk from the 102 and get better swings on it than Ryans.

Exactly how I felt. Nolan's fastball just gets on you quicker which is definitely due to his delivery. The first few times I failed against him I was looking for the heat and even when I had my PCI in the area where he threw it my swing was still late. That pressured me to be even quicker with my bat which resulted in some awful strikeouts where he painted a changeup on the corner and I was a million miles out front.

I couldn't imagine dealing with him on that level over the course of nine innings. No thanks.

How was the pack haul from Conquest?

Huge. I got around 100 regular packs and so many HL choice packs, plus all the other limited packs.

Guessing I walked with about 400k when I sold stuff off.

It’s a grind though but I did it all in one sitting with every game on HOF and had to play an extra steal game on legend due to missing a goal initially

Just curious, but why did you play games on HOF? The highest difficulty I played on was all star and that was only for the first few strongholds and 3 steal fans games.

He prefers to play offline on HOF. One of many reasons he’s just a little better than an average player 🤣

I got unlucky on my 4th turn vs the Padres when I was in the hexagon next to them they attacked me and forced me to play on Legend. It was either that or start over because I wasn’t ahead of schedule. Maybe something like this happened to him

You're right, I didn't realize that until after I posted. I got extremely lucky then I suppose.

Just Personal preference. I play all conquest or offline games on HOF and legend including mini seasons ( admittedly that is a bit masochistic), just find it more engaging.

But each their own. I have a friend who likes to play on rookie and try to beat his personal run record (which is near 90 runs I think).
