TSN Bans

Thanks for creating this section. Since TSN is part of The Show sites, seems like this is a good spot for this topic.
As I'm sure you are aware, there was a massive amount of bans handed out to TSN members as a result of an erroneous tweet by the SDS Social Media team.
Linking to the tweet, or even having a chuckle over it, resulted in integral members of the community to get banned. These bans have an infinite clock on them, went completely unacknowledged, have yet to generate a response via appropriate email channels etc.
Now as adults in the age of the internet, it's kinda important to have some humility. I think that enough time has passed that SDS and the TSN community can "move on" and get back to normal.
Literally members that have been overwhelming positive of the product and either come here daily to interact with each other about the game, or make each other laugh, have been censored.
We can't help new forum members with Mini seasons. We can't talk about cards. We can't interact about joining custom leagues. We can't search users for game history. I could keep going, but I think you get the point.
There are members of this community that are toxic and confrontational. We get it. I think though that whoever was swinging the ban stick from June 6th until the 16th, went completely overboard.
As loyal multiple year customers that have created an online presence within TSN per the rules of TSN, those bans hardly fell within what most online communities would consider "toxic".
Thank you for the consideration. At the very least, answer an email and give people expectations.

Couldn’t agree more. Whoever was handing out lifetime bans back in June over nothing had no clue how much damage they were doing to the community. Some of the nicest and cleanest and most helpful posters were getting bans for nothing. SDS needs to let the community police itself. Let respected and levelheaded people like arvcpa and Ferris and dudes like that be moderators. Like I said in my post on the DD forum, i completely lost interest in the game for about 2 months because I got a forever-ban for literally posting “LOL.” If you want your user base to continue to shrink, then keep doing what you’ve been doing. If you want a happy, thriving, helpful community, then you need to seriously rethink almost every single thing you’ve been doing. Hire one or two dudes who actually INTERACT with us on this site. Answer a question or two every now and then. Act like you care. Or perhaps your lack of customer service is “working as intended.”

I get the feeling they don’t want the vets of this series back, simply because we can tell the new player base how far the game and SDS has fallen. While I have made my issues with the game clear in years past, I for the most part posted about cards and programs and tried to offer help to those who asked for it. After my lifetime ban for w.e I did, I could care less, in years past, by July I probably would have close to 500$ or more invested in the game and an unhealthy amount of time spent in game and on the forum. Now I just give my expendable income and time to anyone but SDS.

here here brother! as a fellow casualty I am proud to be amongst the company of Schnauzer, Hobo, Demise (my compadre) and ultimately Chuck LCL (one of the best posters ever) As were most of us poking fun at an error.....love you guys!

dawg, this is my same account, they unbanned us lol
PSN account is still banned. My household has 3 Digital deluxe editions. 2 of which were banned from the same original thread and subsequent fallout. I'll ghost TSN before migrating anything to a Show Account just for these boards. Don't want to risk anything happening to the game accounts.

PSN account is still banned. My household has 3 Digital deluxe editions. 2 of which were banned from the same original thread and subsequent fallout. I'll ghost TSN before migrating anything to a Show Account just for these boards. Don't want to risk anything happening to the game accounts.
I didn’t link anything, just made a TSN account so I could get back on here and shoot the sh*t about baseball, DD this year is a write off for me. Once I was banned I didn’t even turn the game on for at least a month, too far behind, missed out on cards for collections and will absolutely not give SDS money for stubs after all this.

I think enough people have chimed in to warrant a reply. Or should we continue to expect radio silence for the biggest issue with TSN this year?

To be fair, this is very “on brand” for SDS — create a forum where we can share our concerns and then completely ignore that forum altogether.

Well while we have your attention, this is a MLB the Show site. The community is having an issue accessing it. Improvements would constitute a reply to the various means and channels we have gone through to get the attention of whoever went Thanos on here. Banning people from TSN is affecting the ability to access other services of our MLB the Show accounts that are only available here online.
We politely ask that you bring this issue to somebody's attention.
