Yeah agreed. At first I freaked out a little about this being a 2nd Half Hero, but remembered Napoli, Ketel, and don't forget that Nelson Cruz that's 125/125 vs L.
And I like what a guy said up above about this Griffey satisfying the masses right now, while holding back an even more juiced version for those of us playing until the end of the cycle.
I think he’ll be better than most of the Centerfielders in the game right now. Plus Griffey has a great swing regardless so as long as they give him good contact numbers and good defense he should be really good.

2nd half is good for me, because I am still 5 short of Cutch. But yeah it's a free 99, you have to expect a better 99 coming later that won't be free.

Why would he be a 97/98 when it tells you the card is a 99? hence grind 99.

The schedule on here, Twitter post, and FB post all mention a Grind 99 for The Kid. They don't mention that it is a 99 OVR.

I said as soon as I knew it was a 2nd half card that this was going to be a card just to shut up the "release Griffey maddens coming out" crowd up. That is definitely the case here

If I had to guess its not a joke.
Probably not you would have thought this card would have been juiced with other games coming out soon but guess not .
