Field of dreams field

Have only played one event game so far but it still felt really choppy. Possible I got matched up with someone with a bad connection so I’m hoping it improves but not feeling confident.

I haven't played yet, but tbh there is a 0% chance that it could have gotten any worse so technically they wouldn't be lying when saying "improved frame rate" lmao

Are you on PS4 or PS5? I've played 5 games in the event so far, and each one has actually felt pretty good. I'm on Series X. I wouldn't be surprised if it still suffered from the same frame rate issues other MLB stadiums have on PS4 and Xbox One.
I'm still baffled over how long it took to fix though. There is no way it was a complicated fix. Four. Months. Four months to fix something that worked perfectly fine last year, in a game that was largely copy/pasted from 21. Someone probably had a patch ready to go months ago, and with the new event coming up they decided to actually try playing at Field of Dreams and were like, "huh, I guess we never pushed that patch out. I wonder if anyone noticed".

Im on xbox series s. Its possible I just got a bad matchup. Only one game so far after the patch.

Is it just me or does the field of dreams field seem like the balls flies better now? Did they raise the elevation?

I’ve played 4 event games and haven’t had issues at FoD on the Series X. Now they need to fix the KC stadium, it still ran horribly when I played the Royals during conquest.

This sounds very promising, FOD was my favorite field last year, it would be great if was finally working this year.

I’ve played three and at times it isn’t bad and others it is pretty choppy. I’m on Series X. Foul balls seem to be the worst.

Yea for sure. I noticed Texas stadium was lagging in the conquest also

The best are normally out in full force when an event starts, but theoretically they would be split between the event and BR this time.

Event match making is based on your current run. If you're just starting a run you could go up against anyone. Top 10 in the world, or someone playing online for the first time.

20+ HR with every player is a pretty low bar in August. The game has been out for months. That would be pretty easy to accomplish for anyone that plays online consistently. Especially if they don't swap out their cards a lot.
