There seems to be a fine line between people who love the FS cards and those that despise them.
I'm kind of indifferent, but will admit this seems a little overkill seeing as there were just 30+ new FS cards added to the game last program. Maybe pump the brakes a little.

Probably yes. Most of the future stars haters on here and Reddit are older in gamer years. The masses are 14-22 year olds

Im not totally against future stars but I don’t like when they release cards lower tier that’s what’s the program right now. Could’ve at least been base round of 97 and higher for rare round.

Yeah, I just saw him play in Dayton a couple weeks ago, hit a HR from each side of the plate for 2nd time in 3 games. Card will be good.
I'd love a 99 Larkin, but since they just put his 93 out it probably won't happen for at least another month.

I'm an older gamer who actually argued in favor of the Future Stars program. But now it seems excessive and there are still tons of retired legends and current stars who don't have a high Diamond yet.
Going by some of your posts, I'll definitely give Elly De La Cruz a try though.
And if the Rare Round is more Future Stars I'm hoping we get at least 2 of these 3:
-Marcelo Mayer
-O'Neil Cruz
-Hunter Greene (I pretty much P5 every card he gets!) -
Noelvi Marte, Diego Cartaya, and Daniel Espino 98 are the Rare Round

I’m not against future stars, the tool box pack is cool, more cards added to the game… I think the main issue is we had the program, we’ve moved past the future stars part of the game and it would’ve been cool to add some of those B+ A- legends with retro finest like Lee Smith or Kenny Lofton or mix them in.. 8 new future stars is a little bit much.

Must be a different group of 14-22 year olds than the ones my kid plays ball with. I agree that generation knows and enjoys young big leaguers, but my experience is most of that generation is clueless about prospects. There are always exceptions and my son is the exception, but he is way over the his FS thing this year.

I am good with FS also, but it has just been too much lately.

I mean I'm certainly generalizing a bit, but that generation prefers future stars over anyone pre 90s by a lot. And I think MLB makes SDS push the future stars for marketing purposes. I'm willing to bet there quite a few people that tuned into the MLB debuts of O'Neil Cruz, Nolan Gorman, Adley Rutschman, Wander Franco that otherwise wouldn't have just because of their cards in this game
