I've been using that supercharged Perez card, and man 18 speed is just a nightmare in my mind. So many what would be doubles just limited to singles with him. Which is weird because I remember being able to do everything I wanted with the old Victor Martinez tigers flashbacks that had like, 4 speed. So for you guys, what's too slow to be on your team?

I don’t know for sure, but I used that TN Grandal a lot last year. I always keep a second catcher on my bench. Last year it was Realmuto and right now it is Dalton Varshno TN. I try to keep a speedy catcher on the bench so I can pinch run without needing two moves. I guess I am saying that I will use low speed guys, but I try and have a clear plan in place for if they get on base when speed is needed.

Anything lower than 60 speed unless your hitting is on another level

50 speed is my cutoff, except Catcher. My catcher has 42 speed right now.

This year 55-65 seems about your average "ok/playable" speed. But honestly some guys lower aren't even out of the question (depending on positions). Anything above the average is a bonus

I used Topps Now Grandal card a lot last year. So nothing is really too slow for me.

This year with defense being so juiced speed is even more important. I would say 50 speed is as low as you want to go. At the end of the year I'm not playing anyone under 75 speed unless they are 125s across the other hitting categories.

Mid to low 50s is the cutoff for where I feel like they can get around the bases. And if their speed is that low they better be very good at hitting to make my lineup (frank thomas)
