Delgado or Maddux?

I would take Maddux. Plenty of people to play 1st base but you will more than likely need Delgado for the next collection. I played against Delgado in the minors so I am playing him because of that. He and Ruth are my two worst hitters but just started with Ruth.

So many people saying Delgado and Ruth are interchangeable, so yeah, I'd say Maddux

Well I’m a 700-800 player( this is my second year owning the game)
Precocious season I needed at 763, this season my current rating is 720. Im not saying I won’t make World Series I’m just not sure
But one thing I know is I’ll never make 300 inning lol. I think last season I had about 100 innings- so I know the rate I play 300 innings in one season is out the question

I dunno, I didn't have a ton of success pitching with Maddux but Delgado rakes. I do use Ruth in the OF though his fielding isn't so hot.

I’m worried that Maddux pitches too slow and doesn’t have that “put away” pitch

Yeah, Maddux is not a great pitcher H2H, at least not on AS. Smaller PCI difficulties you can probably use movement, location and varying speeds.

I am at 166 inning and that's taken about 4 days I shoot for 25 innings a day or more I should be at 300 by mid next week just need to commit and grind mission that way and not worry about wins and loses

I had the same decision to make and went with Maddux. Small sample size but I have gotten shelled with him in H2H and he isn't even that great in offline grinding...he gets lit up for me in All Star solos.
Yea the more I think about it the more I’m now leaning toward Delgado
And I just checked the app and they are both around the same price give or take 10k stubs- I would just hate to spend all those stubs on a pitcher that I wouldn’t use
I know I’m going to get some use out of Delgado and like @CDNmoneymaker93 said, can always grind it out for Maddux if need be

Yes you’re right and I am playing a lot more ranked this current season so far than I did last- I’m going to take Delgado and just grind ranked

Seeing if I can get some opinions here- I’m going to complete the takashi program today(money spent) and I’m not sure if I should pick Delgado or maddux.
I’m about to complete the monthly program so I’ll have 95 Devers and I’ll be getting Babe by completing the program. Trying to decide do I need another slow leftie that mashes(Delgado) or a pitcher that is still kinda rare in the game(Maddux)
Also my rotation isn’t the best but I have a decent record 43-18:

Corbin Burnes
Dallas
Orel

Maddux is one of those pitchers who just doesn't translate well to this game. Just not enough velocity.
I think I faced him twice in '21 and pummeled him each time.
I used him because he's one of my all-time favorites, and he was a .500 pitcher for me.
Guys like Maddux, Jamie Moyer, and the soft tossing control pitchers just don't work (cue the players who dominate with Maddux)
Take the other option. -
