You would think playing online (Event/BR games) would get you more XP than playing offline...

Yeah they have really taken away the need/appeal to play online. The last 2 programs, I’ve spent the first 2-3 days just playing mini seasons, conquest, and a few vs CPU games. Seems to be the quickest way to get XP.

well, you're wrong. I played for the same amount of time tonight, that I played last night, and here is the breakdown.

    Last Night:

    30 Program Moments
    Colorado City Connect Moments
    Lou Gehrig Moments
About a handful of BR and Event games
    Exchanges

Grand total of roughly 96-97K in XP.

    Tonight

    17 Event Games

Grand total of 10K in XP

So even if you take the 30K I received from doing all the exchanges; I made 6X the XP just doing Moments last night than I made playing Event games tonight

    This shouldn't be the case.

Add in that most of my Event games tonight we're with the new Legend and FB Diamond players from the Program path, AS Blackmon, and AS Perez and that makes it even more pathetic.

Considering I probably could've done the Conquest Map and finished off the PXP Missions for those players, received at least twice as much XP, and an additional 30K for finishing the map and another 25K for finishing/collecting the Colorado City Connect and Gehrig programs.

    Doesn't make sense.

    Have you tried mini Seasons?

Not a good take. You are effectively comparing one time bonus Xp specifically designed for the program to gameplay xp. If you are a decent player, gameplay xp is equivalent between online and offline for the same time investment. As for bonus xp, yes mini seasons is great, but so is the new ranked season program (77k to get to 300 innings) and the Br program (47k to get to 100 points, which took me less than 7 hours).

XP should be even across the board! Why should online players get more xp? You already get reward updates every season, you get way more events with way more packs. PXP multiplier is given for online play. Just b/c you play online doesn't mean you are a better customer that somehow makes you more important.

Let's be real. Program XP is busted in it's current form.

RTTS XP is way easily glitched. MTO XP can be banked and released when a program drops.

Saying that online play deserves more XP than offline play is indeed, a bad take. It's fine the way it is, because if you are pushing for XP, there's way too many ways to fast-pass it.

Bad comparison. Almost everything you did the first night gives normal gameplay XP and also bonus XP for completing. Of course it will give more.

Play 17 event games and compare it to the equivalent number of innings in Play vs CPU. That would be a more valid comparison. It may still grant more XP offline but at least it would be a more valid comparison.

I would pretty much guarantee that most people would rack up way more XP in 51 innings of Veteran against the Orioles or Rockies in Play vs CPU than in 51 innings of Events against the sweats.

Most of the online players are in here everyday complaining about freeze-offs, cheaters, bunt dancing, R2 spam, rage quitters and other such nonsense...why would you even think that they would offer MORE xp for games people can't even finish half the time?

I can play Conquest, Mini Seasons, MTO, RTTS or vs cpu and not worry about any of that time consuming [censored] and i know i can finish 100% of my games. Online is a bonus....not a neccessity.

I really want a reason to go back to playing RS, but when the XP, packs, and stubs are so good from Mini-Seasons, why would I?

Plus it's relaxing. Boring maybe, but relaxing.
