Doing team builds and theme teams is in my views this games high point of RS. Seeing if you can compete with a team that's not a God squad is so much fun and now with innings used as progress even losing with these teams can be rewarding.

This post has inspired me. Since I'm just trying to eat up innings in RS, my new goal will be to enter a game with LS Pirates and try not to get mercied.

I usually build an all Cubs team later in the year and will use them for a handful of games.
I also like to build a lineup out of my fantasy team. Got a pretty solid lineup with that one this year

I have a Mets squad, but only for show. -
I would be more inclined to do this if there was a max overall rating. It seems like you would be heavily handicapped, but if it’s fun for you, that’s great.

My OCD makes me build an all high stock and stirrup team every year.

Last year I played with a Red Sox theme team. I had more using that team than my god squad.

I really struggle with having fun when playing RS because I sweat too much, team builds are a good way to ease that stress lol

I use my Phillies theme team and we have enough bullpen to win games.

I use my Phillies theme team and we have enough bullpen to win games.
Have enough pitching and hitting too, now if only the real team would realize that.

I always do, but usually not this early. That may change though soon... Don't really care about record as much this year.

Here's the ugly truth, I do it every year but by the time I have all the best players the team has to offer it is so late in the cycle, or I've become burnt out and I end up not actually using them very often

I do the same with the Cubs. Good choices this year. Was so happy to see Ron Santo!

I’ve ran a Rockies team every year for the last 2-3 years. It’s a rule for me that only past/present Rockies players can play in Ranked. It’s pretty fun and challenging. Sometimes you get your [censored] kicked when you end up having to start a Bronze SP and match up with someone very good lol. But I usually win 4/5 games despite having a worse team than my opponent 99% of the time.

You could always just play online ranked with the actual Phillies. You wouldn't have any legends but it would be a much easier playing field. And you'll still get xp

Does anyone still have the theme team spreadsheet reddit to the one i use down.

I gradually build up a Reds team and once it’s good enough, I’ll use it in ranked from time to time
