Who Here Actually Enjoys Moments?
-
I was happy to be able to bypass a few of the April moments (all pitching which are completely random chance at success) with repeatable PXP. There should be a PXP bypass for all of them. I would much rather play mini season, conquest and H2H than restart a moment half a dozen times trying to get two extra base hits…

You get combined XP from restarts, so like if you're trying to get a home run and get 2 doubles first you get that XP... So wait for double XP. For example the new set of feature programs comes out tomorrow, the 10th, and double XP starts on the 13th. Then you'll get a nice chunk of xp for your trouble.
Like you said, if you don't get it done in the first attempt try again a few times before you give up and exit.
One of the hit a homerun in one game moments was giving me a fit. I think it took 5 restarts to get it done. But when I finally completed it and got to the XP screen it showed that my five attempts garnered 4500 in XP.

I enjoy moments slightly more than simulating on conquest maps. Actually, now that the time to sim has been reduced…I’ll call it a draw.
Extreme was kinda fun, but I remember hating it when I did it.
-
I’d rather mop the floor at a peep show than do Moments.
-
In general I like them, relaxing, easy to do for moments where I know I don't have time to actually play a game.
-
Doing a few moments isn't such a big deal. Sure, some take 10 tries, some take 1 swing, but they're not that bad.
Showdowns are on a different level of evil. I hate them will all my willpower and I still beat each and every one of them. I only do them if absolutely necessary.
-
Daily moments are useless. I try to do them but the xp really isn’t worth it. Quit after 12 tries of this Kiner mission.
This Kiner mission gives us a lefty and he’s horrible against lefties. They easily could have given us a righty. The main issue with moments is that SDS is lazy when coding them and that’s just inexcusable at this point
-
I've grown to like moments and conquests, but not showdowns. I wish you a) didn't have to pay for them and b) would not have to start over.
For those who do showdowns, it is worth going to the end after the first couple of rounds?

I don't mind them, and if yall keep complaining about them sds is going to "fix" them next year.... we've all seen how well that goes.

Moments don't play like the rest of the game. Half the time, the sliders seem busted, balls weigh 10 pounds and get no movement. Other times, they think they're doing you a favor on "rookie" and bad dice rolls due to excessive RNG and PCI coverage, make them last in excess of 15 minutes each. Then one troll says they nailed it first try.
They should not be required for card content, just like people complaining about online required for content.
Make cards tied to moments sellable, and maybe I'll stop doggin them. If they went away, I'd be very happy.
It had so much potential, but like anything, they took it to the extreme and turned it into "work".

100% truth.
What year was it? 18? Early on you could tinker with the sliders outside of DD and they would apply to moments in DD. Suddenly moments were fun, the pitcher located pitches in the strikezone, hooray! Hits meant something!
Then SDS found out and patched it so sliders didn’t work inside DD. Moments went back to what we have now.

Yeah how much work it takes drives me nuts too

've definitely found AI has boosted speed in moments where it's like "get XBH"...and someone like Nelson Cruz runs down a laser gapper sinking faster than Amber Heard's case against Johnny Depp

Moments can be a pain but it’s a nice distraction when you get sick of online. I’m glad they exist.

At 1st they were cool & ok when SDS began launching them as Moments Missions towards XP & card rewards. But I feel SDS just went way too OD & OVERKILL with it in the last 2 years & definitely even more so this year. Every freaking Program has all the player missions with Player Cards that really dont excite or even preform well, the rewards for these missions are not appealing. The grind & time needed to complete them is longer due to how many separate Moments Missions there are & how many times some need to be repeated 5 to 10 time before finally achieving the goals for that Moments Mission. SDS took the positive feedback they got from many who enjoyed these Moments Missions & it inspired them to go OD & OVERKILL with hit. Was a big mistake on their part doing so because many have became bored, annoyed & tired from all these Moments Missions.

I only do the ones required to complete a program.
But I did notice they removed multi-game ones, so that's a good start.
Couldn't agree more, the multi game moments was like a brain freeze for me.
Yes, I really hope we don't see multi game moments all year. At least until Moments extreme, I'd bet they will appear for that.

I would rather defecate in my hands and then clap than play 800 of these mind numbing moments every season. I don't even care what the rewards are for doing them. The monthly program and player programs that require that garbage are entirely skipped by me, and I am an offline player. This is how much I despise them. I'd seriously rather do missions like the team affinity was back in '18. Doing 500 at bats with Royals players sounds 100 times better to me.
hahahaah incredible post mate - and to answer your question - i never play them anymore for a few years not worth my time and energy on nonsense

I'm in the minority. I'm on team Amber.
