Pause? No way, not a chance. The pausing in this game is the worst. I might run into an R2 abuser once every 100 games but pause menu abusers I run into every few games. The clock needs to be reduced drastically.

Should be 90 seconds max with no incremental increases. If someone can't manage their subs and bullpen in 90 seconds then F O and play franchise

R2 should have zero impact on the pitcher. If the pitcher is ready. So should the batter.

My theory is that not everyone is R2ing because this is way more than I’ve ever had to experience.

I think a good portion of them are messing around with PCI anchors and that’s causing the interruption to the pitcher.

I’m all for no incremental increases in the pause menu. I however would like to see R2 removed entirely.

I press R2 each time a new pitcher is brought in. Doesn’t bother me when others do the same. I think it’s fine. On the other hand, spamming R2, constant pausing, bunt dancing, trying to get into a run down every chance you get, and taking forever between pitches is annoying.

I still don’t get why a batter should even get feedback like this during an at bat. I think it would be way more fun and realistic without it. Even if only online.

It’s not like players are running to the dugout to check the ipad every pitch during a game, or yelling to the coach every pitch asking if someone throws a curveball? It’s just lame.

Part of the game is knowing what pitches someone throws and where it just went during an at bat.

I’m 100% for it during cut scenes between at bats and actually think it should be expanded. Show the full sequence of each at bat for that specific hitter and each pitch the pitcher has throw that game. That’s stuff batters see right before at bats and need to keep in there mind, not something they can pause the game to constantly check, re check, and check one last time before the final check.

I can’t remember which game used to have scouting reports you could spend like 200 coins on before a game but that would be cool too. The show used to just have it… either way it would be cool to see that stuff while the game is loading. What/where they pitch most, what/where they swing at most, again not during every swing all game, just at the start.

Dude I actually had a bug yesterday where my opponent held it so long and so often, that the R2 logo that will pop up stayed on screen during my wind ups and even in the pause menu😂

That happend to me the other day and I almost quit out. It wnet away after I paused.

Can you R2 pullers just pause the game and look at the card to see what pitches I throw? Surprising SDS has not come up with some kind of solution for this! I hate it more than tax inflation.

I wish I could electrocute them from a button on my controller!

LMAO and send them directly to narnia for an eternity.

I use R2 to get an idea of how a guy is pitching me player to player.

I never use it, but I really think it would probably help me out if I did look every so often. I also am definitely not a fan of R2 abusers, but I don’t think it is anywhere near the issue that it was last year. At least not my experience so far.

The pause menu does not show how your opponent pitched you last at bat in a second or two.

Anyone holding R2 longer than that is either telling you to slow down, or trying to make you miss your spot.

They don't check your pitches they just want to get under your skin and look like it's working lol try to not give a fock ... not giving a fock is awesome and also the only way to keep trying to enjoy this disgusting game... and humanity in general lol

I had a r2 masher, I didn’t notice until it made me hang a slider and he got a HR off of it. I proceeded to peg his next batter, strike out the side and then made him watch all my home runs. I won 7-1 in a 3 inning game. Surprised he didn’t quit after he watched that 3rd HR fly.

You should have to pause to look at the pitch mix in an online game. Enough R2 nonsense. All it does is cause toxicity online. If they wanna have it for offline, go right ahead.

SDS is useless - they still haven't dealt with this for years on end now

Serious question, does it really bother people if the batter holds R2 before the 1st pitch of the game to check pitches and speeds? Thats the only time I do it, and when they bring in a new reliever.

buddy - if its once in a blue moon - i never get upset - for sure you are entitled to the odd check

but if its each pitch, all the time - they can go FKUC themselves
