How to tell you're gonna lose a game

Reason #67 why I have no interest in online play. 14 pitches, 2 worth swinging at. I totally get that if somebody swings outside the strike zone, you use that to get them out. It's made more essential for you to do so when everything you throw over the plate gets hammered. But an inexperienced player like myself would swing at many of those. As a result, I'd never get a hit. The strategy then become to now swing. I didn't buy a video game to not press the buttons on my controller. I realize I'm being overly literal but it's the equivalent or running past every villain in an RPG. I play one video game and one only (The Show) each night for an hour or 2. I want to swing the bat.
I can understand how frustrating this would be @raesONE_PSN. You get them to chase, you should get mostly swings and misses. But I believe you should never be matched with someone you're so much better than. The online model is just flawed in so many ways. And so the company makes it easier for bad players to win....not sure why it doesn't work for me hahahaha. I only made it to 11 points in BR last season in a week and scored a total of 4 runs. I don't know about you all but I have more fun cleaning the house. Some people are just not ready for online.

I just want to lose games when I'm outplayed by whoever, could even be someone like @HustlinOwl_PSN. I'll use him as an example because he loves to be tagged and recognized by me, so I'm killing 2 birds with one stone. But when I'm outplaying my opponent, by making them chase time and time and time again, I just want them to get out by either weak contact in play or preferably a strikeout.

I can normally tell whenever it’s clear my opponent is using contact swing. Drilling pitches up the middle that are 2 feet outside the zone on early/late swings. It’s sad that I have to shift my infield so my SS is behind 2nd base to help against these no skilled contact hitters.

DD might be addicting, but the race for cards against time seems like it brings out the worst in us. I don’t really enjoy online anymore. For me, the most fun comes like this:
- Online against a friend for fun
- Offline
- Online against strangers

At least some people are bringing up real issues. Yes, a lot of people come on here after a bad loss and complain about the game. But what the OP posted just shows you can’t take SDS seriously about gameplay. There should be absolutely no reason for that many foul balls in one inning. Even top streamers for SDS are complaining about the gameplay. Just check out Shelfy from yesterday on Twitter. Awful!
