Very easily I can tell after 1st inning is played. If the person I ma playing just is able to make contact with EVERYTHING I am throwing, regardless of location & speed. Also if I can NOT even make contact on ANYTHING he is throwing me. I can easily see I am out classed & out matched. That person has better skills with PCI placement & swing timing. As well he has better pitching skills with hitting his planned target area & mixing his speeds greatly. He shows he has an actual pitching strategy & NOT just throwing whatever & hoping it will be a swing & miss or an easy pop-up or weak grounder. Getting matched with players that good are a nightmare for me. I just quit. Not ashamed to say it.

Pure programming. Making sure contact is made to prolong an AB which is basically manufactured dramatics.
Why would this game reward somebody for that many bad swings? A dev won't touch that question with a 10 foot pole. If there is no leveling of the playing field or DDA then what the heck is that?

Just had a RS game freeze in the second inning.
In the first inning I hit a line drive single with the bases loaded and all my runners were frozen…couldn’t move them with any button for an inning ending double play.
Combine the glitches with the gameplay you are describing and yikes.

And then the next game, the game blesses me with every swing. As if it's like "oh we screwed you over last game when you were on a run, let us make it up to you at 0-0".

This may be my biggest disappointment in the game this year. I thought it was beyond terrible last year and thought for sure they would improve it. I didn’t expect it to be perfect, but just a slight improvement. However, it seems to be way worse than last year.
Last year if I got desperate enough I could move my analog stick all the way below the zone and if they couldn’t lay off, they would swing and miss. This year I have those pitches fouled off with regularity. Ability to foul off these pitches does not improve the game at all…it just teaches people that they do not have to have any patience at the plate whatsoever…myself included.

@crash447_XBL between the foul balls the game somehow getting worst on Xbox s poor connectivity lag all my out pitches from last year are hits/fouls the pitcher confidence impacts the game soooooo much no surprise fouling off balls lower that like I can call when the game is gonna make me float one over the plate after 12 foul balls my rating from last year was 1000-1100 I got that every month I played which was 4 months I CANNOT GET OUT OF THE 750s

I do need help. From the devs, to fix this abomination of a game. Other than that I'm actually doing quite well but I appreciate your concerns "stinky".
