Honest opinion...will the market become flippable and when?

Definitely not gonna be as easy. I think with the changes to prices its a little off now. Im seeing silvers BUY NOW at 2500 and then you see a gold for 700. Im just gonna watch it for a month or two to see how it trends but in the meantime, im gonna grind away on the mini-seasons and new content as it drops.

Sometimes maybe good sometimes maybe sheeeeeit.
Yesterday I was flipping some cards for 1-2k every few mins and today the margins are negatives. Actually many cards in general are negative flips today.
I do find the cards people who buys stubs are more likely to get are the best. Big dog players packs, WS rewards, the headliners. They always move fastest for me.
If all else fails buy the headliners the day before they leave and they always go up a bit once they leave packs. Lofton was about 13 now he touches 18 sometimes. Slower but easier.

It’s like this every year. You’ll actually find there is better profit margins with bronze and commons. Buy like 1000 commons that have no quicksell orders in and you’ll be able to flip those cards for ridiculous profits. You’ll be surprised how much you can make doing this. Keep in mind that you have lots of people attempting stub transfers so keep your eye open for anomalies that don’t make sense.

You just need to know what to flip.... I've already fliipped my way to completing the live series

Showzone, and all the youtubers talking about it, don't help the market. Everytime "showzone this", or "this player that" gets mentions on youtube 100 little kids flock to that player and have a piranha frenzy until the margin is gone.
This. Everyone flips now. It might become flippable once a significant amount of people have completed their collections and have a comfortable enough bankroll to not pay attention. My most successful flips this year weren’t really flips, they were short term investments based on anticipated supply/demand related to the schedule.

Right now the juice isn’t worth the squeeze for me, but for those wanting to work on smaller Margins and devote hours a day, more power to them. I value my time more than what I can make.
For me, the action is the juice.
Great movie.

Hahahaha, that's funny. I'd never even heard of Showzone until today. As soon as I did pretty much what you just said @go4stros25_PSN hahaha, the margins evaporated. I learned my lesson in about 5 mins. That's not the avenue for me.
And @OreoRockstar_PSN you pretty much summed up how I feel. I know I could make some. I made about 20K on the anime cards the other day but I was on the app for way too much time for such little return. To each their own, I definitely don't mind the grind if it's profitable.
Ps: Juice worth the squeeze....Girl Next Door. LOVE Elisha Cuthbert.
Is Showzone different from the app? I just downloaded app today so it's new to me.

I have profited 15k today not sure if that is good or bad, getting 50 to 100 profit per flip in about 2 hours off and on.

Yeah there is definitely profit there, but buying and selling 150 bronzes just really isn't my cup of tea lol

I know it is not for you, for the record that is not what I am flipping today, those are just a few that you can really move at that price but those come down really quick, I found some other cards to flip that is going ok so far.

I also think the cards I am flipping will stay at this value for a few more weeks

I would be ok with 500 per flip if it moved relatively quickly, but it seems anything over 150/200 is moving slow. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place for it

I'm not quite as optimistic as others here about the market generating better margins, for a couple of reasons. First, the market is flooded with new players from XBOX and Switch. More players results in slimmer margins--the more people competing to buy or sell a particular card squeezes the margins. Second, SDS has formulated collections and the way they offer cards to discourage flipping. Exhibit A is the Topps Now cards. Last year, those were my go-to sets for making sizable gains. Now, they are doing them differently, releasing them one at a time, and four in a group, rather than in packs. And you (so far) need all of them, so there is no incentive to sell them, or one that's obvious to me. I thought maybe the FOTF cards would create a flippable market, but so far those margins too are super thin, at best. I guess some people are finding good margins in things like equipment and rituals, but that's not my thing so much. In my experience, having flipped for a few years now, low diamond sets create the best markets, both in terms of the time you'd need to dedicate to it to make your time worthwhile, and the monetary return. It was good ROI. But right now, that collection does not exist. But to my first point, even if it did, the sheer number of players/flippers in the market would shrink margins.

As a topps now flipper myself I don't think those are a problem just yet. The most profitable topps now cards by far were the June set(Schwarber POTM). The april and may ones didn't have great margins until real late. Also the current topps now cards still do have the biggest margins for gold players despite only being only 200-300. I do think margins go up after a while, but not as quickly as previous years. As you said there are more people doing it, but how many of them have the willpower to keep after it all year. I think alot of people will get tired and bored at some point and they open up
