I’d love it in DD just because it lets you use another player more regularly. It would add a lot more value to guys like Nelson Cruz.
I would appreciate the DH in DD for this reason. Guys like Cruz or J.D. Martinez with outfield primaries and terrible defense/ speed have been stuck on the bench outside of BR for years. It would be nice to throw them into the lineup every once in a while. Besides that, I'm happy enough with the way it works now.

Why does this question need to be asked every other day? Is your team really that bad that you absolutely NEED the DH?
Its not that. I just prefer the DH rule overall. Always have, way way before SDS, EA, 2K or any1 else made any baseball video games. Now that it is univseral for both leagues, I just feel SDS sould put the DH in DD online or atleast to have the home team use a DH if thats in thier game settings.

Why would it benefit them by not making you account for another starter? Why would it benefit them at all?

I forgot to mention that if they do introduce a DH for DD in the future, I hope they add a stamina system for position players. Nothing crazy, but after a certain number of games (not sure of the number, but maybe around 10-15) they could receive a minor downgrade to attributes until they take a game off. Maybe you could use the DH spot for a half day to recover some stamina. That way the bench doesn't become completely useless.

That would be a great thing if done now. It will prevent many from sticking to the same cards that literally rakes for them & force them to use cards that dont. Espeacilly with those who love to stockplie on cards with 90+ speed to play a running cheese bunt & SB tactic every game.

I can guarantee you they don't make fake cards weekly, those are all planned out way ahead

I'm all for the DH in real baseball, and I would be okay with it if SDS adds a DH in future games. However, if 8 superstar diamond hitters aren't enough for you to get some offense going, the 9th one isn't going to help.
My thoughts exactly. I like that MLB has it now. But in DD it would kinda suck. We are gonna have some pretty stacked teams real fast and I want to be able to utilize my bench and be forced to take out my SP and maybe go to BP if I need a bat in a key moment. With a DH I would hardly ever use my bench or my BP.

and when exactly was the game designed and built? Oh yeah in May many months before DH became anything more than a rumor.by the time the lockout had happened this game was 7 months in the oven already.

Ghost runner and three-batter rules started in MLB in 2020, and were not put into MLBTS until TS21, an ‘instant’ 10 months later.
In fact, the three-batter minimum was announced 13 months prior to the release of TS21.
A bit more time to prepare for those than the three weeks they had for a confirmed universal DH.

Because it wouldn’t be copy and paste if they added a DH. We have to lower our expectations every year or just stop buying it. Complaining won’t help unfortunately

I don’t know why they wouldn’t add it and at the same time why users wouldn’t want it eventually also. It is an opportunity to have DH only cards. It also gives you another reason to use bench players instead of saving them for pitcher at bats. You can use them to sure up your defense in the 9th or for better R/L matchups earlier in the game.

I think you already have your real answer. I think they very easily could add DH, they don't want to.
In the streams for 20 when DH was added they said they wouldn't add it to DD, and only said Maybe if it's permanent. This year they said definitively no for this year and made no promises for any time in the future.
SDS's attitude indicates to me a lack of interest in putting DH in DD. It's a fantasy mode if they wanted DH in DD it would have been there from the beginning.
