I honestly dont mind the guys they have in there, its a welcome change. But I do mind the lack of variety in what they say and the fact that it isnt programed right and they say the wrong things at times way too often. It kinda feels rushed.

While there are definitely issues with the commentary, you don't spend over 2 years and countless hours changing over the commentary just to scrap it after one year. Expect to hear these guys in the game for 10+ years.

I recommend playing a season of Franchise on broadcast mode w/ batter walk up and what not!! Commentary is awesome and engaging. DD has never been a mode with in depth commentary. It's more designed for Franchise, MTO, and RTTS.

You may be right, however why the need for change unless you get a better broadcast crew?

https://youtu.be/S0ZlxTzVD2YWell i can't tell you why they changed broadcast crew. But maybe it was Matt's decision? He maybe didn't want to fly out to San Diego for recording sessions? Or maybe his son/or daughter is going off to college and wanted to be able to travel with them? Who knows but bottom line DD broadcasting has always been limited regardless who it was is all i am saying.

They could have kept the same announcing crew, added only half of what the new crew did, kept the name audio, added a few more there and it would have had a better vibe. I don't think anyone would have had a problem with that.
So now, you just get a bunch of missing names, mind numbing repetition and messed up cues, but with different voices.

That would be astounding! They are the best announcing team in baseball.

I couldn’t stand Plesac and DeRosa last year. Don’t really like them in live broadcasts either. I will say at least it’s not Pat Tabler. As a Jays fan I have to sit through an entire game where he has to repeat what Dan Shulman or Buck Martinez say. Or he will make sure you know that so and so really looks like a ball player.

Haha! I laughed out loud when I read that. As a lifelong Jays fan, listening to Pat call a game like he’s a confused old man stumbling around a baseball stadium in his bathrobe talking to anyone who will listen to him, I am so glad to hear some different voices in the Show. Shame about Buck, but having Dan Shulman in the booth is a welcome change and he would be a great voice in a game like this.

We peeked with sunday night baseball with Joe Morgan and Jon Miller. Best there ever was imo

I’ve never turned off pxp faster than I have this year. It’s like 90’s arcade level in most modes. I’ve heard some people say they were fascinated by it in franchise tho.
